It’s fright night in MK as the Phantoms are in town for a Halloween showdown 👻
Pete names the same personnel as travelled to Swindon for the shoot out loss last Sunday, with the only change in net, where Heds gets the start tonight.
Griff continues in his 4th line forward role
Wonder who this could be…. Telford looking for an Import? Potty looking to replace theirs……?
If it is someone looking to replace a Brit nettie, they’ll need to gas one of the other imports to bring them in

Great to see Carter Hamill, Hazeldine & Beattie called up to the GB squad.
Does however mean they’ll miss the visit of Swindon next Saturday, along with Pete 😬
Swindon will be missing their head coach also for the game
Assume they’ll be back for Potty on the Sunday

Always happy to get a point in Swindon, but a bit disappointing having been two goals ahead. Still, long way to go, could be massive come the end of the season.
Phantoms in town next week, let’s hope it’s no fright night and we can get back to winning ways again
A tight, end-to-end battle that couldn’t be separated in regulation or overtime, but unfortunately, the shootout goes the Wildcats’ way tonight.
The team showed fantastic determination throughout, battling hard to take the game all the way to a shootout, but Lightning narrowly miss out on the extra point.
We take a point on the road and go again back at home next Saturday night ⚡

Mk travel to Swindon for a league & cup showdown with the reigning league champions
Pete names the same personnel that put Bristol to the sword last night, with Whale retaining his spot in net.
Griff down as 4th line winger 👀
🐳 Whale, Hello there! 👀
Jared Whale makes his first appearance of the season as The Pitbulls come to town to face a Lightning side looking to bounce back from defeat in Hull last Sunday
Cownie remains sidelined so it’s the same personal from that loss last week
Frustrating thing about @NIHL_Official is that they only seem to publish news items quietly to their website
Missed this last week, but the goal review system is live in MK, Solway, Hull, Leeds, Potty & Swindon

Split weekend, not all doom & gloom. Picked up the cup points yesterday, still on top tonight. Fair play Hull, great performance tonight, Heisky is a beast.
For MK, learn from it and move on. Bristol and a trip to Swindon next weekend, will find out what were made of ⚡️
🛎️ Ding Ding! Round 2! 🛎️
Lightning head up to Hull for game 2 of the weekend and are unchanged from that side that fought to a 3-1 victory yesterday
Heds keeps his place in net after stopping 28 of 29 shots yesterday.
Big test ahead, LFG ⚡️
It’s 1st v 2nd, top scorers v best defence , Johnson v Corneil, Heds v the Hulls fans.
A huge clash awaits in the Thunderdome as the little peckers from Hull travel to MK looking to take 2 league & cup points back to Yorkshire & usurp them at the top of the table
One change for MK sees a return to the line up for Griff, meaning no Cownie tonight.
No2 ranked Nettie Hedley gets the nod over fit again Whale.
Can we keep it tight tonight? Nasty habit of conceding early this season so far
