And I just passed my second bar exam in a year.
I am still FURIOUS that there isn’t #diplomaprivilegeforall and that I had to take two exams to have full UBE transferability.
BUT - I DID IT 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Just took my second bar exam in 9 months. I’m exhausted 😓
Still FURIOUS I had to retake the thing after the Oct. 2020 bar didn’t transfer my passing score everywhere in the UBE.
Still FURIOUS @ExamSoft is malfunctioning.
Still FURIOUS we don’t have #diplomaprivilegeforall.

Today I asked the Min. of Education @Sflecce why First Nations schools are not included in Ontario free menstrual products program. I was not given an answer.
Jurisdictional issues should not be dividing provincial and First Nations schools and students.
Sunday scaries ain’t so scary with my girl, Freya. She’s conquering her fear of going outside so I should get over being worried about court on Monday 😅

Pregnancy and menstruation are not issues exclusive to one gender. They are human issues, affecting men, women, and non-binary folks.

So, the DC bar exam opens registration tomorrow, and I am exhausted. I have been studying for the #barexam for the 9 of the past 12 months.
To be clear to the #diplomaprivilege trolls out there, I passed in October 2020.
So, why do I have to keep studying?

As someone who passed the bar but is studying for ANOTHER bar, this is not helpful. I doubt it's helpful for first-time takers either.
What is helpful? Having institutions willing to stand with students and dismantle the bar exam towards a system of #diplomaprivilegeforall.
We know you're studying hard for the bar exam. We want to remind you that managing your stress and mental health is just as important in passing as the many hours you spent revising.

This is my admission, for posterity, that I am forever a huge Phantom of the Opera devotee. I’m not ashamed to say this has been the case since I was about six 😂
Also, for any other “phans”, I highly recommend the Phantom of the Opera episodes of @musicalsplainin, especially the Love Never Dies episodes. It’s side-splittingly funny stuff.
My mother is a lioness of love who caring and kind and generous. She also worked the entirety of my life, as did my dad. My siblings and I NEVER felt our parents did not love us.
I strive to be half as amazing as my parents on that front, and I'll do that with a job.
