The Fall of the House of Saud Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, has presided over failed policies, both foreign and domestic, that have weakened his hold on power. This is a good thing. We may be living in one of the most significant moments in time regarding West Asian and global geopolitics. In 1977, the world could not imagine the Persian Gulf without factoring the reality of the Peacock Throne. In 1979 the fall of Reza Shah Pahlavi took the world by surprise. Ritter’s Rant #106: Burn, Baby, Burn Europe is on fire, the byproduct of revolutionary change taking place because of the failure of European political and economic elites to put the welfare of their people over the politics of supporting Ukraine. youtu.be/pgxyT9mZimA?si=xZt6… via @YouTube

TO THE FEW WHO ATTACKED ME FOR SAYING “FUCK ISRAEL” — GO READ THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE AND THE BILL OF RIGHTS. This country was founded on the rejection of tyranny, blind allegiance, and unquestionable authority. The First Amendment doesn't exist to protect speech that makes you comfortable. IT EXISTS TO PROTECT SPEECH THAT MAKES YOU UNCOMFORTABLE. You don't get to wrap yourself in the American flag, preach about freedom, and then demand that Americans shut their mouths when they criticize a TINY foreign government. THAT'S NOT PATRIOTISM. THAT'S HYPOCRISY. THAT'S TREASON. And if your loyalty to a foreign government outweighs your commitment to the constitutional rights of your fellow Americans, YOU HAVE BETRAYED THE VERY PRINCIPLES THIS NATION WAS FOUNDED UPON.

We’ve been captured in China 🇨🇳!!! Just kidding. The City of Guangzhou is graciously helping us in our quest to introduce us to the city and the history, culture and developments. On to the Canton Fair followed by a visit to the Foshan Economic Industrial Park. The Canton Tower and the surrounding area is quite a sight!
I was told about roast goose! And red rice rolls and dim sum! I have to check out again the name of this restaurant here, but it was founded in 1881. Sunday holiday weekend, went to this place was packed!! Needless to say, the cuisine is fantastic and high-quality. 🤭@Bubb1eGumBabe is not skilled at chopsticks (I hope she doesn’t see me saying this). It’s as hot as Texas here!! Oh! I JUST discovered mini apps in WeChat!! DiDi in that app does translate to English. Here’s the other thing that’s really cool about using that app for travel, you can prepay for your travel, or it will mark the trip and you can pay later (like if you’re exhausted from a lot of travel, and you need to hit the sack, and you can pay the next day). I overate so much I had to pass out.

What Would Ronny Do? Ostensible “Reagan Republicans” like to say that the iconic conservative American President would be rolling in his grave over Trump’s “abandonment” of Ukraine. They are wrong. There is a host of self-proclaimed “Reaganites” (i.e., those conservative Republicans who embraced the leadership and values of Ronald Reagan, the iconic conservative American President whose 8-year term in office defined the decade of the 1980’s and helped end the Cold War he once embraced) who decry the efforts of the current American President, Donald Trump, to find a pathway to peace with Russia today. “Reagan would be rolling over in his grave”, these erstwhile supporters of life, liberty and the American way proclaim. They are half correct. Read more: scottritter.substack.com/p/w…

We Brits are not at war with Russia, our leaders are working together with the EU and NATO to try and drag us into one. Russia has never done anything to me or any other British person.

In the 1980’s, after I graduated from college, I served in Marines. Ronald Reagan was my President and Commander in Chief. He called the Soviet Union an “Evil Empire.” He also advocated for arms control and nuclear disarmament. He signed the Intermediate Nuclear Forces treaty. And ordered military professionals like myself to implement it. In 1988 Reagan went to Moscow. A reporter asked Reagan if he still viewed the Soviet Union as an “evil empire”. Reagan replied, “No. You are talking about another time, another era”. Reagan would not support the US proxy war with Russia. Reagan would not support the Banderists who hold power in Kiev today. Reagan would advocate for better relations with Russia. Stop using Reagan to prop up your warmongering beliefs. Reagan finished his presidency as a man who openly advocated for peace between Russia and the US. I know. I was on the front lines of this effort, serving in the Soviet Union to implement the vision of my Commander in Chief.
