It’s showtime!
Heats start tomorrow for World Indoors
Watch me in heat 5
1.23pm local time 🇵🇱 | 10.23pm AEST 🇦🇺
We’re back!!! Excited to be heading to my 4th world indoors and first time back in the green and gold since my hamstring rupture! 😁💚💛🇦🇺
Side quest achieved! Set myself a pre-season goal of breaking the 6m barrier and last night I did it in style with a big pb of 6.32m!!! 😍 Huge thanks to my super coach Bron for humouring me and showing me the ropes, I promise I’ll remember I’m a hurdler now haha 😝
Sometimes you don’t get that fairytale ending. Unfortunately I was 0.08 secs short of qualifying for world champs. Tough to get so close and miss out, but proud of what I’ve achieved despite a rocky past 12 months. Good news is I’m happy, healthy and looking forward next season!
One year anniversary of tearing my hammy off the bone at the Olympics 💔 Very proud of what I’ve been able to achieve so far but hopefully there’s more to come, the journey back isn’t over yet 🔥 Huge thanks to my team for helping me back onto my feet!!! ❤️
Seasons best of 13.15 here in Germany! A long way to go but happy to kick start my euro season after a tough month ❤️
All smiles for my first race back!!! It’s been a long road to get here and we still have a long way to go but it’s exciting to be back doing what I love ❤️
After rupturing my hamstring in Paris I set myself an ambitious goal to be back over hurdles before the end of year… Very happy to report I achieved that goal just in time on the 30th of December! ❤️
Olympic and Paralympic welcome home ceremony featuring my fashionable knee brace and crutches. Thanks for a great night @AUSOlympicTeam
Just because things don’t go to plan doesn’t mean you can’t still have the time of your life! 😁 Thank you Paris!
Not the Olympics I had dreamed of. Unfortunately I fully ruptured my hamstring tendon in my heat, causing me to hit a hurdle and take a big fall.
Today was about not giving up & leaving no stone unturned. I gave it my all and honoured to now call myself a two time Olympian ❤️
Race day tomorrow!!! Heats kick off here in Paris at 10.15am tomorrow morning, 6.15pm AEST. Can’t wait to get things started! 😆🇦🇺
10 days to go… all focus on Paris @AthsAust @AUSOlympicTeam
