Publicly advising a foreign country on how to thwart US foreign policy seems like a pretty clear admission of whose interests you actually prioritize.
The Israel Lobby's Mark Dubowitz insists that the US and Israeli militaries must be merged so tightly that any actions taken by a future administration against Israel "will impose costs on the US itself."
Our relationship needs to be intertwined to "such an extent that inflicting financial harm on Israel would also carry a significant cost for Washington," he wrote in a column earlier this month.
This is the real goal behind Section 219 of the NDAAβturning America into a dependent slave colony of Israel.

1. Even if this was a real attack, when a military site is the target, by definition, it is not "terrorism."

He makes no secret of it. The only thing that counts as antisemitism to him is criticism of Israel or anti Zionism, neither of which is remotely antisemitic.
How can you be a card-carrying true believer of the DSA β an organization that makes anti-Zionism a requirement for membership β and still fight all forms of antisemitism?

Security grants do not substitute for moral clarity. A mayor who will not define antisemitism, will not confront terror flags being marched around in Jewish neighborhoods and terror sympathizers at the doorstep of a synagogue, and will not put his own politics aside is not fighting this crisis. He is managing around it.
The mayorβs actions or inactions only serve to help fuel antisemitism in NYC. This βplanβ is just further proof.
The Democratic party has a long, long way to go to get foreign policy right, especially in the Middle East, and MOST ESPECIALLY in Palestine.
But this is a terrific sign of progress and a great illustration of why, for all their imperfections, it IMPERATIVE that we get a Democrat majority in the Senate.

But what was much more important was that the warnings were a way for Hamas to try to push Netanyahu to conclude agreements that had already been reached for a slight easing of the blockade of Gaza. As this @AP article from just two days after the October 7 attack shows, the fact that Egypt warned Israel about the impending attack is not news. It was known at the time. Why was it ignored by most? Not because it wouild have embarrassed Netanyahu--it would have, but the attack itself already did far worse. No, it was because acknowledging it would have stemmed the tide against the unfolding genocide.

"Terrorism" has long since lost any real meaning. But if we want to reclaim it, this is a case that is categorically NOT terrorism. The whole concept was developed to address political attacks AGAINST CIVILIANS!!! An attack on a military target can be many things, but it is NOT terrorism.

UNRWA's acting Commissioner-General thinks he and the Board of Peace have the same goals. He is tragically mistaken. UNRWA seeks to provide services to refugees: food, shelter, health care, and education. The BoP seeks to cover for Israel's ambition to expel Palestinian's from Gaza and Trump's ambition to use the territory for his own profit. Hopefully, Mr. Saunders wakes up before it's too late.

It is absolutely unjust and antisemitic to blame Jews as Jews for Israel's many crimes. But it is equally unjust for pro-Israel groups to hide behind Jewish identity to escape accountability for their actual support for those crimes.
