MIT’s Wargaming Lab is seeking a Program Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support; coordinate events, meetings, and seminars for the MIT Security Studies Program Wargaming Lab; and provide day-to-day operational activities, working closely with the co-directors of the Lab, developing, implementing, and monitoring program and project plans. And that’s a wrap on the 2026 Summer Wargaming Institute! Over the last five days, MIT’s Wargaming Lab brought together a diverse cohort of students, researchers, military professionals, and policy practitioners for an intensive multi-day training program. The Summer Institute has become one of the Lab’s signature programs and continues to play a key role in cultivating the next generation of wargaming scholars and practitioners. By providing participants with both theoretical foundations and hands-on experience, the Institute helps expand the broader community of individuals capable of designing, executing, and evaluating wargames in academic, governmental, and professional settings. Thank you, to all of our presenters and participants who came from near and afar, thanks to our hosts at the MIT Endicott House, and a very special thanks to Elena Capuzzo for putting this event together!
