My first byline! Op-ed for @EnoTrans: Preparing transit for the Future of Work.
“Remote work” has become synonymous with “working from home” [...], but there are plenty of compelling alternatives, each with their own implications for transportation.

Excited to share our ongoing research on remote work locations, with Xiaotong Guo and Jinhua Zhao at @MITTransitLab @mitmobility. We find that about a third of all remote work happens away from home, which has significant implications for urban mobility.

Title VI should be the bare minimum. President Carter lays out a compelling case that agencies must do more and engage with questions of equity and access in a more nuanced way.

Title VI creates an opportunity for transit agencies to feel absolved from achieving actual equity in their systems at the expense of their riders. Instead, states Dorval Carter, transit professionals should couple Title VI with actual policies & outreach. #TRBAM
