When I first visited India in the mid-1960s, I was astounded to see people of both genders squatting elbow to elbow on large vacant lots to defecate. No toilet tissue noted. They apparently couldn't afford to pay untouchables to empty their chamber pots at home.
When immigrants go to another country, they cannot defend their actions by stating that "it's acceptable in my culture." Acceptance of the culture of their host country is called "assimilation." Either assimilate or go back!
