Excellent coverage of ⁦@MGALBA⁩ annual report in ⁦@heraldscotland⁩ by ⁦@brianjaffa⁩ It explains serious financial challenges of trying to maintain quality of #Gaelic TV so it has a chance of competing with global digital channels. More Gov investment needed.

As chair of @MGALBA I'm delighted to launch our annual 24/25 report which tells a tale of a vibrant #Gaelic #media sector. But for how much longer? We face huge financial challenges. Here's my intro video: vimeo.com/1096277486/f10bf6f… And here's the report: mgalba.com/annual-report/202…

Enjoyed interviewing the new bosses ⁦@TG4TV⁩ and ⁦@S4C⁩ during ⁦@CelticMediaFest⁩ in Newquay. I know envy is not a good thing but I can’t help it hearing the budgets they have to work with. ⁦@MGALBA⁩ and ⁦@bbcalba⁩ are paupers by comparison.

An t-Eilean review – this Gaelic language crime drama should have happened years ago

A high-budget series set in the Outer Hebrides – it’s hard to believe it’s taken this long, given how popular subtitled TV is. It’s a good, solid series, even if the plot stretches credulity
