🚨Uh oh... looks like job growth in Q4 '23 was wildly overestimated - business employment dynamics report shows a net employment gain of 344k private jobs while the monthly job reports from that time showed nonfarm payrolls jumping by 637k; so, almost half the jobs were fake?

Evictions are jumping in the sunbelt and midwest, while they hide them in blue cities by forcing landlords to eat unpaid rent. One in three renters now pay half or more of their income in rent, and hundreds of thousands are falling behind. The White House’s only solution is hiring more lawyers to prevent evictions, which makes landlords stop renting to young families and blue-collars.

Evictions are soaring as Americans can't pay the rent. Evictions are up between 15% and 35% in nearly a dozen major cities, while one estimate of overdue rent is up between 322% and 559%. They're hiding it by gutting landlords. Which will shut the poor out of housing altogether.
