It's been a long time for me between X's, but I am so proud of my daughter Lydia and her role as Jordan Baker in the Albany Civic Theater's production of "The Great Gatsby," which debuts this Friday night and runs through Feb. 10th. Tickets at albanycivic.org
The sky above the Willamette in Corvallis today. As Bruce Cockburn says, "You don't take these things for granted when you think about what's in need of repair."
And not far from the ballpark, the Big Old Strong, Old Man River, The Father of Waters, flowing unvexed towards the sea.
It has been a long time between tweets, but the presence of the Beavs working out at Alex Box in Baton Rouge is a beautiful sight. And what a site.

Coach Gary Andersen asked me to send this out on his behalf.
I echo his words. Kyle brought so much energy & a blue collar attitude that set the bar for his teammates. He embodied everything you want in a teammate. Sincerest condolences to Kyle’s family at this time of loss.
The architects of the best DP in Oregon State history chopping it up before the ballgame today. Darwin and Joey, together again.

I would like to wish my son Stephen Jr. a blessed and Happy Birthday. Enjoy the day.
Jeffrey, thank you for the message about Bruce. "Colin Went Down to the Water" is one of his more poignant songs ever, taking up a sensitive theme so beautifully as only a poet can.
