I don’t know how I will survive in jail with severe ME. I am facing up to 5 years. I’m extremely scared and can’t think about anything else. Last time I had a very expensive lawyer. This time I can’t afford it. I just wanted to share with everyone, if i randomly fall off the map
How would you feel if a family member said they were going to come wake you up at a certain time, when you have severe ME and you just spent a week in the hospital where you hardly slept or ate? I’m not going to talk to my brother anymore after this. He did something similar at-
the ER. I asked for him to take me home and he kept forcing me to stay there for hours. I insisted I needed to go back to my bed because I was severely overstimulated/beyond exhausted, but he forced me to wait. We were there for several hours. I don’t feel safe around him anymore
What if you can’t do any of your hobbies due to your illness? Sit the fuck down, Autumn.
If you have a mental illness or a disability and you display that on your bio go and delete that right now. Replace it with something like a hobby or a profession or something fun you like to do. If you center your identity around your illness your psyche will do insane things to try to sustain the illness. Become somebody defined by what you enjoy and love, not by what causes you pain.

I’ve been doing rly strange things in my sleep recently (haven’t been sleeping well with CPAP) yesterday I woke up while typing something in my med diary. I remember feeling v confused about typing “Whitney” @DafoeWhitney hope you’re doing okay! Was thinking of you apparently 😅
I’m not as badly crashed as I thought I would be. All my lymph nodes swelled like they normally do in PEM but then nothing happened? How wild would it be if the gabapentin withdrawal cured my ME lmao. Probably cooked the virus while it was burning my nerves from the inside out.
And it makes it infinitely harder/impossible to get medical treatment for these things. I’ve already decided if I get cancer I’m just gonna let it take me bc I can’t get regular cancer screenings/getting regular treatments for it would be unbearable
