People give shit to working designs for their script translations, which sure, but the real issue is whenever they fuck over a game's balancing to make it worse than what was intended.
Elemental Gearbolt is fucking nightmare central if you go by their version.
it's one thing when it comes to video games, but it's also true for movie and any studio in the entertainment industry, Toei being one example, even though there is clearly a market who REALLY want their stuff and it wouldn't be too cost effective.
the whole thing about the Tekken 6 port is fucking ridiculous, esp when bamco ain't gonna bring that fucker to PC and newer platforms.
Oh they won't make new tekken games? Big deal, the old stuff is better anyways esp with T8 being as fucked over as it is.
Japan is incredibly frustrating when it comes to copyright and what gets brought or preserved. They don't do enough to preserve their media because it's just so common, meanwhile are so overprotective and picky in what gets brought over and not.
