Wonderful news!
Our film Resisting Caste(ism) in Australia is a finalist at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival 2026.
A conversation that began nearly three decades ago with the student film Yathartha in Delhi in 1998, in which I was one of the main protagonists, now travels to Australia. The film asks difficult and necessary questions about how caste continues within diasporic Indian communities.
Many congratulations to @KishoreVikrant and everyone involved in this important film.
