After 20 years making documentaries, I’m making the leap into fiction.
My debut fiction short THE HIGHWAY, starring Huang Lu, has its World Premiere at #TIFF26 Sept 10.
Inspired by something I witnessed on a highway in China—and a question that stayed with me for years.

Don't see this movie if you are just going to post some snarky letterboxd review calling it Spanish Call Me By Your Name. Do see this movie if you want to see a gorgeously shot-on-16mm debut that is a bold, ambitious and eerie blend of natural and supernatural adolescence.
