Honestly, an ODST spin-off game on the IW engine with a focus on grounded militaristic realism would actually go so, so hard I can't begin to imagine how strange it'd feel fighting the Covenant (or Flood) in the IW engine, but for a non-mainline game it'd be a cool experiment
