Missing Endangered Person: Marcos Farah 82 Deputies are seeking help locating Marcos Farah, 82, of Tigard. Marcos was last seen on SW Pacific Highway (Hwy 99) near SW 68th Parkway at around 12:45 a.m. on February 12, 2025, heading towards Portland. Marcos is 5’ 4” tall and about 145 pounds with hazel-colored eyes and bald. Marcos was last seen wearing a plaid-colored button-up shirt, blue jeans, and black and white shoes. Marcos has a cognitive condition that will disorient him, and he is severely underdressed for the freezing conditions. If you have seen Marcos or have information on his whereabouts, please contact dispatch by calling 911.

MCSO deputies are on-scene at Angel’s Rest Trail where a deceased person has been located at the bottom of a cliff. The area where the person is located is difficult to reach and Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue has been activated to recover the body.

A hiker has died after a fall near Wiesendanger Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. @Corbett_Fire and MCSO deputies are on scene. The @MCSOSAR team will accompany the Medical Examiner to assist in the recovery of the hiker.

Corbett firefighter's, AMR, and Multnomah County SARS rescued a hiker having a medical emergency. Hiker had 4 children with her all made it out safe.

Deputies are asking for the public’s help locating 45-year-old Achim Heimerdinger. Around 5 p.m. on Mon., Dec. 20, he walked away from his home and into the woods near the 33000 block of NE Mershon Road in Corbett. He is believed to be experiencing a mental health crisis.

Joe Dean has been FOUND near the Rock of Ages Ridge. He is conscious and breathing. Rescuers are hiking to his location to help get him down safely.

Four climbers were canyoneering when they ran into trouble navigating two large waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. Portland Mountain Rescue and @MCSOSAR responded and rescued the climbers overnight. Read the full press release: flashalert.net/id/MCSO/14462…

A family is safe after becoming lost & spending an unexpected night in the woods near Larch Mountain. @GreshamPD officers found the 31-year-old man and his two nieces about a mile from the snow gate on E. Larch Mountain Rd. This was the 2nd major @MCSOSAR activation in two days.
