Britain is no free country.
Speech is routinely punished: criminally, financially, and otherwise. This is a result of existing law, which must go.
That is the purpose of The Freedom of Speech Act (2026).

🚨 Teenage Reform activist arrested after calling Tory councillor a “rent boy”
A 15-year-old schoolboy, Fraser, was woken by four police officers knocking at the door of his family home.
The previous day, Fraser, a committed Reform UK activist, had been campaigning for Nigel Farage in Clacton during the hastily called by-election.
But a handful of Facebook posts appear to have upset a Tory councillor on Wolverhampton City Council, who complained to the police.
In one post, Fraser criticised the councillor for wearing shorts and a T-shirt to a meeting. In another, after the councillor had worn a suit, Fraser remarked that he was thankfully not dressed like a “rent boy”.
West Midlands Police’s response was to send two police cars and four officers to the child’s home.
Fraser believes his arrest was politically motivated.
The police have revealed very little about why Fraser was arrested. In an email to his lawyer on 8 September, West Midlands Police wrote: “It is alleged that your client’s comments could be considered a hate crime offence…”
Officers searched Fraser in full view of his neighbours before placing him in a police car and taking him to the local station. There, he was searched a second time, put in a cell, and had his fingerprints, DNA and mugshot taken. His shoes were removed, and he was left alone in a “freezing cold cell” without his mother while he waited for a duty solicitor. Meanwhile, two officers searched his bedroom at home.
Celia Hibbert, Reform’s leader in Wolverhampton, contacted the Free Speech Union (FSU), which has taken up Fraser’s case and found him a lawyer. Fraser is considering suing West Midlands Police for wrongful arrest.
FSU Legal Officer Zahira Patel said:
“Four police officers arriving to arrest a 15-year-old boy over a political Facebook post is a shocking overreach. This is not an isolated overreaction. It fits a pattern we see again and again: politicians reporting online criticism to the police rather than answering it.
“For a child to be arrested at home, interrogated, stripped of his devices, left waiting weeks to learn his fate and investigated for a ‘hate crime’ is not proportionate policing of a minor. This investigation needs to end immediately.”
It is deeply Orwellian for an elected official to use the police to silence a child who mocked him.

Every time I’m in the UK I hear this. More and more people asking, subtly or straight out: what would Hitler do?
As if it was that easy. Have you looked around you? Man, Hitler wouldn’t even know where to start

If even Ofcom's three biggest American targets find its orders "the most burdensome information request received from any regulator in any jurisdiction," imagine how the other, at least 194, smaller American targets feel about these orders.
Pass the GRANITE Act.

Meta, TikTok, and X have brought a challenge against the same OSA provisions 4chan challenged: Section 100.
The U.S. court declined to hear the case over subject-matter jurisdiction.
The GRANITE Act would make it so US constitutional rights are adjudicated in US courts.

Section 34 dispersal orders (created by the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014) gives the police and PCSOs the power to direct individuals to leave a designated area for up to 48 hours – designed for vagrants, rough sleepers and drunks/crackheads in public spaces. Here, being applied to the entirety of Gosport (population 82,000).
We haven’t seen such an abuse of legislation beyond its intended purpose since the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 – designed to contain remote airport and hospital disease outbreaks – was used to place the entirety of Britain under house arrest (lockdown, of 2020).

The requirement to "show your papers" will only be effective if American websites agree to it.
Americans can, and should, refuse these unconstitutional British orders.
Congress can make it considerably easier for them to do so, by passing the GRANITE Act.
If it was not clear; they also hate you along multiple lenses (class system).
You will be meat for the criminal justice system, or completely blacklisted if you are middle class.

Why polyamory is bad, a mathematical proof
1. Fun for you scales sublinearly with number of partners
2. Drama scales superlinearly based on the number of connections in a sexual graph
Therefore, there must exist some N where the disutility of drama exceeds the fun of multiple partners.
Practical experience suggests N ≈ 2 is the limit

No, passport may be needed to prove identity on social media so the cops know whose door to knock on at 11:30pm for expressing an opinion the government don’t like.

Just wanted to check with residents of Gosport whether they had considered these optics as potentially earth-shattering and issue-defining, might be too late!

80,000+ people in Gosport are subjected to the power to 'move people along', which would include from their homes.
Why precisely?
Because they have taken issue with the housing of illegal migrants being processed in their area. The power to do so is derived from a 2014 act.
This is a brand new concept - a ‘Migrant Lockdown’. These are apparently designed to facilitate the smooth entry of Boat Migrants after recent large anti-migration protests in coastal towns. As happened during COVID police have the power to disperse people in public areas
Just for context this is the size of the order issued. 👇
Hampshire Police have imposed a Section 34 dispersal order over the whole of Gosport until 7am Tuesday, covering about 82,600 residents.
Officers can order people to leave and not return; refusal is an arrestable offence.
Face-covering powers and a designated protest area at Walpole car park are also in force.
The trigger is one small boat, reported as carrying dozens, that may be brought ashore at Fort Blockhouse. Utter madness..
