Replying to @BCBST
@BCBST told me that they won’t cover my migraine meds unless I fill them with @ExpressScripts. I have to take ≥1 a day. They sent me 12 as a “15 day supply.” Said I could refill after 6/13. Tried, told it was on hold until 6/23. Email this morning says it’s delayed longer. 😩
A very helpful @BCBST phone agent has emailed me a list of alternate pharmacies in Knoxville that are eligible to fill prescriptions for my meds that are currently managed by @ExpressScripts.
My 33-page list of pharmacies that @BCBST won't hassle me about using instead of Express Scripts includes my current pharmacy. Also, other than acknowledging that they received my email with account-specific information, no one has responded.
A year ago today, the judge approved the adoption. Kai became our daughter, Jess became her mommy, and I became her daddy. Happy “Gotcha” Day, my sweetheart.
My father-in-law, Doug, passed away this evening. His pain and struggles are over, but those he's left behind are heartbroken. He was a good man, a lifelong learner, and a devoted, faithful husband and father.
My daughter has discovered that Barbie shoes fit on her unicorn. ✨🦄✨

What does it say about my life that "Throw away suicide birds" isn't the weirdest thing on my to-do list?
2020 has been crazy so far for a lot of people for a lot of reasons. It would be easy to blame my lack of communication and reaching out on COVID-19, the adoption process, or my health issues that have resurfaced. But the real reason is fear.
If you can think of one, please message me with an example of a positive impact, no matter how small, I have made on you or your life. I don't care what it is: all that matters is that it meant something to you.
