💬| Mckenna Grace on the physical aspect of playing Maysilee Donner, "It was intense.. I was very underprepared for the sheer amount of cardio of it all."
Includes an unseen clip of the ladybugs!
Admin still doesn't have their mic (or desktop audio) muted... sorry.
💬| Mckenna Grace on Maysilee Donner as a character on the BBC one show, "I play a very angry character.. she's seen as kind of mean, but she learns to be kinder to people around her and kind of funnel her anger"

More spot on casting? Mckenna Grace as Maysilee Donner. She’s a total pro at establishing Maysilee's simmering ferocity while letting that composure/intensity crack just enough. Was also super impressed by Whitney Peak's work as Lenore Dove. Haymitch’s journey doesn’t work unless you believe their connection and it always feels present — even when he’s in the Games. Peak and Zada deliver big with that.
Kelvin Harrison Jr. is too good following in Jeffrey Wright’s footsteps, and Jesse Plemons makes the complexity of Plutarch’s situation a standout. Most connections to previous movies play quite well — they feel so natural — but there are a few that don’t quite click, and one in particular that does run the risk of taking away from the focus of this film. But those are ultimately speed bumps in the midst of a riveting watch.
