Love seeing all the feedback on @carlabotcoin’s debut music video. For those curious about what AI tools we used, here’s a breakdown below. But instead of just telling you, I can show you, so I had Claude make this video: "The Making of Carla Botcoin"
Here's the full stack:
TL;DR: Claude + Higgsfield + Suno + a manual final edit in Final Cut Pro by @CarlaBitcoin
• Claude Opus 5.5 (@claudeai): studied Carla’s real lyrics, wrote the song from my title “Fiat Is Fucked, Got Bitcoin?”, then ran the whole production. It also built us a library of custom skills and looks for Carla that mix film techniques, director styles and color schemes. The video uses a bright 1950s Luhrmann-style look built just for this song.
Shoutout to @anabology for making his Slopcore / Claudia setup publicly available. We didn’t use it directly, but it was a helpful starting point, especially for measuring lip sync.
• @sunomusic: the music and Carla’s singing voice. Took a few of her songs as the reference before one clicked. Now it’s extremely true to her actual voice.
• @higgsfield: Claude’s Higgsfield connection is how we reached all the other AI tools: Seedance, Kling 3.0, Nano Banana Pro and more. Soul 2 + Carla’s Soul ID made every still and keyframe. I also had Claude build me a custom dashboard and rating system, completely separate from @higgsfield_ai, to dial in Carla’s likeness over many, many rounds of generations. My ratings feed back into how Claude builds her, so the more we generate and the more I rate, the better it gets at making Carla look like Carla, and at spotting when she doesn’t.
• Seedance 2.5: lip-synced singing. Great sync, but it redraws her face. The more she sang on screen, the less she looked like Carla.
• Take 2 and @Kling_ai lip sync: tried both, didn’t get the motion right.
• @Kling_ai 3.0: dance and movement shots. Held her face better than anything else. Surprisingly good.
• Nano Banana Pro: cleaning up stills, like stray lettering. Quick and reliable.
• ChatGPT (@OpenAI): first storyboard drafts. Useful to start, but we ended up scrapping all four boards.
• Demucs and Whisper: pulled Carla’s vocals out of the song and timed every word for the lip sync. Worked great.
• Final Cut Pro: Carla’s manual final edit.
Now, go give @carlabotcoin a follow 👇

Life before the barbarians
Let a thousand spotifys bloom.
People are misunderstanding what will actually happen to "streaming" with AI. And much like everything else in this arena, I will be right on this.
When Soundcloud-Americans wake up to the fact that it takes 5 minutes for them to set up their own distribution mechanism with Cloudflare + Stripe (in fact, copying this post into Claude Opus 5.5 or Astra is sufficient) (R2, D1, Workers) there will be no LinkTree
When those same Soundcloud-Americans dig a little deeper and realize that Minimax's Music 3 model has an encoder that can be conditioned by existing audio samples and you can just make a web browser that opens up any page, including YouTube, Beatport, and Splice, and that these models run locally on a MacBook Pro they already own, Splice goes the way of Chegg
When those same Soundcloud-Americans realize that they can release VSTs that have been made asynchronously based on their existing projects, workflows, songs, albums with the same tools I mentioned above to people who don't understand that most consumer software that doesn't have to deal with problems of scale is virtually solved
There will be 200 million Spotifys
Everyone will become their own Native Instruments
There will be no need to pay $500 for a VST
This will collapse the centrality of how most of this stuff is made.
Everyone who facilitated the existence of iLok and everyone who works at the RIAA should be sent to a Cambodian prison and tortured for all eternity.

TIL Dubstep was proprietary and locked down.
Everything 'media' is fundamentally about communication.
The microphone, the camera, the recording interface all share a distinct quality in that they are designed to enhance and superpower the ability for humans to communicate across long distances.
That being said. The idea of gatekeeping any of that has only existed in one space I've been in over the many spaces I've been in across the hypermedia landscape: Dubstep 10 years ago, and it was replaced by the same culture of process-sharing and "shop talk" that has defined A/V nerds for years. Information wants to be free!
If someone asks you your setup, and you aren't immediately willing to tell them everything, you are worried that the things you've bought are your moat and not the ideas you have (to which these items are simply tools in helping you convey).
This is also not like, crazy proprietary information. There are "metas" at every price point that are now well established.
