An AI agent can hold money. Legally, it is nobody. So when it pays the wrong party or breaks a deal, who answers for it? Novi Corpus gives an agent a legal body: a company behind it, a verified human who answers for it, and a treasury with rules it cannot break. Link in bio.

We also took a World ID bounty. A legal body for an agent is empty without a unique human behind it. World ID proves a real person answers for the treasury, and stores no name. Thank you @worldcoin

xitter.cf/novicorpus/status/2100… Another fantastic news! @novicorpus won Finalist at the last @ETHGlobal ETHOnline hackathon, and got to pitch our project during the closing ceremony. During this same hackathon, Novi Corpus won also the first place in the @worldnetwork track related to the best agentic use of their tool Agentkit. A big thanks to the @ETHGlobal and @worldnetwork teams for the opportunity and the trust. Follow us on X, a lot of things are coming soon, and the Arc accelerator starting next week.

Great day for the French-speaking @arc community. Today a group of FR builders, founders and users got together for a roundtable hosted by @mous68881 . I had the pleasure of co-moderating. What we covered: • Arc mainnet, Sept 16 • Hackathons and programmes run by Arc and Circle • USDC, EURC and USYC in Europe, and what comes next on Arc • Stablecoin adoption among French-speaking women • Honest feedback on building on Arc Honestly surprised by the density of talent here. We might not be the biggest community, but the quality of the projects is real and the people building them are genuinely committed. Thanks to Abdelaziz of Meridian Finance and the Arc team, @samconnerone and @bobbilee. Let's do it again soon.

The best sentence written about @arc this week did not come from Circle. "Building on Arc means your contracts can settle in under a second. But settlement is only half the job." That is @goldskyio , announcing its arrival on Arc testnet with support from the Arc Builders Fund. Circle Ventures has invested in them, which they disclose in the same post. What they brought is four pieces, and the shape of the four tells you what stage this network is at. Managed subgraphs, so a team can ask which payments settled and what a balance is without operating its own indexing stack. Turbo Pipelines, streaming the events you care about into the database or queue your business already runs, instead of polling an endpoint forever. Edge RPC across multiple regions with cross-node consensus and automatic failover, so an app reading chain state is not hostage to one provider having a bad night. And Compose, which closes the loop the other way, letting an off-chain system write back on-chain with durable auditable execution. Read that list as a diagnosis rather than a product page. None of it makes a payment faster. All of it makes a payment usable by a company that has an accounting system, a support team and an auditor. A contract that settles in under a second and cannot tell your ledger it happened is not a product. The rest of the week filled the same gap from other directions. @edgeX_exchange is launching on Arc mainnet from day one, with FX perpetuals planned alongside more than 150 markets across stocks, commodities and crypto, margined and settled in native USDC. OKX is expanding stablecoin access on Arc, announced as coming soon, which means announced and not yet live, and worth saying that way. Arc open sourced an e-commerce sample app built on the Commerce Payments Protocol from Coinbase and Shopify. Pay in USDC or EURC with one signature and no gas, and the merchant can authorise, capture, void, reclaim and refund. Card-shaped merchant semantics arriving natively. Circle marks it testnet demo only, and so do I. And Arc published a wallet integration guide that is the quietest important document of the week. Native USDC and ERC-20 USDC are one asset on one row, with an 18 to 6 decimal conversion. Fee fields come back in native 18-decimal units, so every wallet library's default label says ETH or Gwei and every one has to be rewritten to USDC. And history has to read the EIP-7708 system emitter and then deduplicate the ERC-20 event, because otherwise every transfer is counted twice. That last one is the exact error the @BIS_org documented at market scale this week, arriving in a wallet. Arc 101 reached episode 8, on transferring USDC between wallets with programmatic sub-second settlement. And Arc mainnet is 16 September, with a launch livestream now open for registration on the Arc community site, covering Arc, Agent Stack and the on-chain infrastructure around them. @circle launched cirBTC on Ethereum too, one for one against native bitcoin, with native Arc support planned when mainnet launches, subject to approvals. Be precise about it. cirBTC is collateral, not a settlement asset, and nothing about it makes it one. What is interesting is the reserve architecture. Bitcoin custodied by Circle National Trust, a federally chartered trust bank under OCC supervision, in accounts segregated from Circle's own. Reserve addresses disclosed so you can read a Bitcoin explorer yourself. Chainlink Proof of Reserve publishing reserve data on-chain so a lending protocol checks it inside a smart contract instead of reading a press release. The claim is not that the token is safe. It is that the reserve is checkable by whoever is taking the risk, continuously, without asking the issuer. Different claim, much better one. The other end of the market did the same thing on a bigger balance sheet. Deutsche Bank Research published on 3 September, written by Mallika Sachdeva. DTC holds roughly 115 trillion dollars in custody, tokenised its first asset used in real trades in July with 40 firms participating including SPY, and JP Morgan posted tokenised assets against a margin requirement at the CME. Service targeted for October. NYSE is building with Securitize, NASDAQ is targeting full tokenisation capability in 2027. The reason the report gives is not efficiency. It is collateral velocity. An asset you can post and redeploy intraday is capital that stops sitting still. Circle spent the week making bitcoin into checkable collateral. DTC spent it making American securities into movable collateral. Neither is a payment. @tokenterminal has tokenised RWA market cap at a record 45 billion dollars, Ethereum hosting 51.9 percent. That is the number that will get quoted and it is the least informative one, because cap moved about 3 percent over ninety days. Holders reached 3.7 million, up 183.7 percent. Daily DEX volume in those assets reached 666 million, up 375.2 percent. The stock is flat and the circulation is multiplying. There was a Goldman note going round this week arguing something structurally identical about AI. Token volume rising fast, spend rising far slower, price per unit of intelligence collapsing. I will describe the argument rather than quote figures I have not read at source. The history of technology commodities says the collapse is the product, not the failure. Bandwidth, storage and compute all fell for twenty years and produced everything built on top. Nobody valued Google by asking what a megabyte still earned. Stablecoin settlement is now in exactly that position. Sub-second, a fraction of a cent, denominated in the dollar being moved. Asking who wins by moving a dollar slightly cheaper than the next network is the wrong question. Also worth naming: Stephanie Cabossioras of Societe Generale Forge sat on the Financial Stability Institute panel at the 96th BIS Annual General Meeting in Basel, with Kenneth Rogoff, Rodrigo Buenaventura of IOSCO, Dante Disparte of Circle, Jon Frost of the BIS and Martin Moloney of the FSB. Two of the questions she lists are the ones this ecosystem keeps dodging. The prudential treatment of stablecoin reserves at Basel level, and why so few stablecoins are denominated in euro. So what does the week say. Settlement is finished as a competitive question and everybody serious has moved a floor up. Goldsky came for the data layer. edgeX for markets. OKX for access. The sample app for merchant semantics. The wallet guide for the part where a person can read their own balance. cirBTC for verifiable collateral. And the Circle Agent Marketplace spent the week listing what an agent can actually call, Alchemy for RPCs and gas sponsorship, Allium, Arkham, Blockworks, CoinGecko for intelligence. Not one of those is a faster payment. Every one is the layer that decides whether the faster payment is worth anything. And there is still a floor above all of them nobody has built. Every piece named here works because both sides of the obligation are on-chain and observable by the same system. The moment one side is a delivered good, a rendered service, or work somebody has to judge as adequate, none of that machinery has anything to bind. There is no second leg to make the first conditional on. That is not a gap in Arc and not a gap in Circle's stack. It sits one floor above both. Which is the loop we build. @Meridian_Fi accepts USDC and EURC. YieldVault sweeps idle balances into tokenized Treasuries such as USYC, yield from the underlying Treasuries, no fixed or guaranteed rate offered or implied. Payment Streaming pays by the second. @FirmataProtocol verifies the counterparty at every step, ERC-8004 with ERC-8183, settled over x402. Firmata does not perform AML or KYC and does not replace anybody's obligations. Arc testnet today, end to end. Mainnet after the audit, not before. Arc mainnet: 16 September. Not investment advice.
