Instead of supporting the Liberal bill on Keira’s Law, the NDP intentionally allowed it to die just so they could introduce their own bill to get the credit. In doing so they’ve delayed the passage of Keira’s Law into Manitoba by several months. #mbpoli #Keiraslaw

Very sad to learn of the death of Grand Chief Cathy Merrick. It’s a great loss for Manitoba. I first met her many years ago and have long admired her ability to advocate for the Pimicikamak Cree Naton when she was Chief there and for all First Nations in Manitoba as Grand Chief
