I am very proud to be part of the Audiology Teaching team that was nominated for Aston Achievement Award in the Best Team Award category. It was a wonderful evening with wonderful people. We didn’t win it this year but great to have been amongst such worthy winners 😀👏

Today in the exhibition space @Brian_Sudlow animated the winning digital story script from Monday's workshop by Hunain Zaman (aged 12) of @kechg Hunain came back to the museum to see her script being animated and discuss the finer points with Dr Sudlow!

Believing in this myth was a barrier to me getting cochlear implants. Now that I have them, I like them. Nothing changed about my involvement in signing communities. If anything, now I feel more deaf than ever.

Cochlear implant fact of the day: it's possible for CI users to be part of Deaf culture and signing Deaf communities. Some of us choose that, and some of us do not.
