Diddy. That's right. Diddy Kong was the other half of the 2-ship today in Wichita. Diddy been busy - check out the markings below the canopy. A-10C Warthog 78-613 of the 23rd FW Flying Tigers.
On April 14 Ohio ANG KC-135R Stratotanker 59-1444 from the 121st ARW arrived at Tinker after sustaining damage while deployed at PSAB. Advanced ADBR maintenance patched her up for the long flight back to depot. Today marks a new chapter for her. Eddie62 - hope to see you again!
Yesterday E-3G Sentry 82-0007 departed Tinker as Shuck80 to cross the pond. I haven't had many opportunities to see this jet, but earlier this month I did get to see Balls 7 quite a bit. Looking forward to seeing her again someday, but for now duty calls. Safe travels.
“Eddie61, you are cleared to Rickenbacker.” I love being able to see KC-135s come in from all of over the country, even all over the world. But the Ohio ANG birds are a sentimental favorite this year. Here’s KC-135R 60-0367 from the 121st ARW arriving at Tinker AFB today. ❤️
“Spirit of Coos County“
KC-46 16-46013 arriving under the call sign Pack99 at Tinker today. This jet is assigned to the 133rd ARS/157th ARW of the New Hampshire ANG. After hanging out for a bit the crew made their way back to Portsmouth, NH.
Hey IP, I see you, you see me Here’s T-38C 66-8400 from the 25th FTS/71st FTW based at Vance AFB working the pattern as Shoot15. I’ve been able to collect quite a few patches from around the country but I still don’t have any from the Shooters yet. Hoping to change that.
Had the opportunity to catch an AK F-35A 4-ship passing through Tinker AFB for some fuel today on their way to Florida. They were all with the 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, including the wing commander (flagship 18-5354), and the 356th FS commander as well.

Air Force One handoff!
Because the 747 can't land in Kalispell Montana, President Trump has switched to the smaller C-32 for the flight to Montana.
What a great rally at Bullhead City!

Retired US Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Jeremy Hardy, a legendary pararescueman (PJ) who lived the motto “That Others May Live,” sadly passed away on October 1.
Hardy led the high-risk 1999 rescue of then-Lt. Col. David Goldfein (later Air Force Chief of Staff) after Goldfein’s F-16 was shot down over Serbia, dodging surface-to-air missiles and anti aircraft fire, landing under small arms fire, and extracting the pilot in under a minute while shielding him with their own bodies.
Across a 25-year career he participated in more than 200 confirmed rescues worldwide (including combat operations and Hurricane Katrina), earned the Bronze Star for Valor, and later helped instill the warrior ethos in cadets at the Air Force Academy.
His courage, skill, and lifelong commitment to saving others will not be forgotten.
Rest easy, Jeremy.
Never forgotten.
Let’s help spread the word aviation community.
For more than five years, my beautiful bride and I have been on the front lines in the fight to heal our heroes at home.
I know this fight from the inside.
Childhood trauma. Military loss. Addiction. Closed doors. Dark nights of the soul.
I’ve lost 16 fellow aviators. I’ve lost four F/A-18 brothers to suicide, including my best friend, who was a groomsman in our wedding.
After 15 years of service and flying fighters off aircraft carriers, I was told a lot of what I was carrying was “not service related.” I was a veteran outside the VA system.
By the grace of God, and with my bride beside me, I climbed out. I did not do it alone.
Now it’s time to put the ladder down for the ones still in the fight.
That is why Suzi and I built the No Fallen Heroes Foundation.
Last year we applied for the VA’s Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant.
Denied.
I went digging for the reason, and it was on me. I had submitted our budget on the wrong template. Years of work, sunk by a spreadsheet.
We didn’t quit. We went back to work and rebuilt the whole thing. 34 pages. Two weeks of building, right down to the last hour.
This year - approved.
$750,000 to reach veterans and their families at risk of suicide across Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. One of 191 organizations in the country.
This grant was built to reach veterans outside the VA system. VA’s own data shows why: 61% of veterans who died by suicide in 2023 were not receiving VA health care in the year before their death.
That’s the bureaucratic wilderness I was lost in.
This one is for my brothers. And for Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox, whose name this program carries.
Now we go find the ones nobody else is reaching.
If you’re a veteran in crisis, or you love one: Dial 988 then Press 1, or text 838255.
Or reach out to me directly. Healing is possible. There is a way through, I promise you.
Fight’s On.
