Today we remember Capt Gerald Halloran, Capt James Kilventon, FF Thomas Fry, FF Luther Hurd, FF Robert McKarnin, and FF Michael Oldham. The 1988 Ammonium Nitrate Explosion led to the adoption of the NFPA 704 placarding system and formation of Hazmat 71 in KCMO. @KCMOFireDept
