Absolutely glowing 🌟 to be part of this year’s #Photonics100 by Electro Optics!Honoured to be in such inspiring company—cheers to all the honourees!
Thanks for nomination and recognition of the work of my group @ufolaser at @Leibniz_IPHT
Past days 23-24.09 were inspiring✨ @nonlinearlight and I had a pleasure to organise a workshop “Frontiers and innovation in nonlinear optics” in a historical manor by Berlin ufolaser-lab.com/events. We thank all the speakers for vivid discussions and engagement till late evening
Participants are arriving ✨✨
Together with @MAChernysheva we have organised the workshop "Frontiers and innovations in nonlinear photonics"! Looking forward to meeting many amazing scientists from academia and industry in Berlin and to enjoy talks and discussions!

Only one week to go until #CLEOEurope 2025 in Munich!
Our team is excited to share our latest work on SWIR and Mid-IR ultrashort pulse fibre lasers and technology — thanks to great team & collaborators.
📍 Full schedule and titles are below. Come by, listen in, and connect!
Proud to see the work of my PhD student out! Big thanks to collaborators who provided the samples.
New #PaperAlert: Just published our latest work on Q-switched mode-locked mid-IR Er-doped fibre lasers in Advanced Photonics Research advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley… Grateful to all co-authors and collaborators who made this possible.

Last week brought us a rich harvest of freshly published papers.
1st a Perspective paper on essential building blocks for Mid-IR fibre lasers has been published in @aplphotonics
pubs.aip.org/aip/app/article… coauthored by @alexfuerbach and @kirill_grebnev
It was shortly followed by @OpticaPubsGroup OptLett paper on properties of fluoride fibres down to cryogenic temperatures, and potential cryo sensor applications down to 4K. opg.optica.org/ol/abstract.c… by @kirill_grebnev
🚀 It is a submission time 🚀
As a part of CLEO2025 Committee, we work hard on assembling great lineup of plenary and invited speakers. We invite all researchers and innovators in photonics to contribute with their groundbreaking work to the conference!

A small token of first-time first author appreciation. It’s becoming our tradition.
Happy to see our work published!

Was given a very warm welcome and inspiring lab tours at Femto-ST. Thank you, @johnmdudley !
Good morning from the Workshop on Structured light at Lapland. Prof. P.Russel is giving insight on chiral photonic crystal fibres 👏. Well organised by @GGoery and @MarcoOrnigotti
