An editorial on release 6 of MACE just appeared in the latest issue of the Journal of Natural Products
pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.102…
MACE release 6 is now available. It contains over 420 EI mass spectra and almost 30 orbitrap mass spectra.
The data can be found at leopard.tu-braunschweig.de/r…
The MACE website with individual spectra is accessible via oc.tu-bs.de/schulz/html/MACE…
With this new release macr_r05.1 we added a .zip file containing the mass spectral data in Shimadzu format. No addition of new entries.

The next release will be published in January.
We are happy to announce release 3 of MACE. MACE now includes 164 EI mass-spectra, with new additions from the Ando, Millar, Zarbin goups and ours. Visit the MACE website

and the MACE data repository. publikationsserver.tu-brauns…
Data additions wellcome!
We have slightly changed the data file structure of .mace files. The tags RI and CAS became separate fields to improve data management. This change has no influence on functionality, both formats work with MsSearch. The MACE website was updated accordingly oc.tu-bs.de/schulz/html/MACE…
A description of MACE, a community effort to collect EI mass spectra, has been published in the Journal of Chemical Ecology.

We are happy to announce Release 2 of MACE. doi.org/10.24355/dbbs.084-20…
MACE now contains 23 moth pheromone compounds of the Ando group and in total 87 compounds, including also more pheromones, bacterial volatiles and cuticular lipids. For more details see: oc.tu-bs.de/schulz/html/MACE…
After six weeks, we have 70 downlads and almost 600 visits and one additional contributor. MACE seems to work.
We have our first contribution of mass spectra by the Ando group. Very much appreciated. The data will be available with revision 2. More contributions are very welcome!
If you want to contribute to MACE, sent an email with the data in a textfile to [email protected]
