One of the most convincing theories about Brand New Day is that MJ is slowly getting her memories of Peter back First, she draws Peter in his Spider-Man: Homecoming suit at her apartment without realizing it Second, at the end of the film she touches the necklace Peter bought her in Venice during Far From Home Third, she’s seen returning to the Midtown School of Science rooftop in Queens, the exact place where she and Peter used to escape the crowd in No Way Home And fourth, when Jean Grey freezes her, MJ cries. Jean’s powers can restore and repair memories. Most likely what she did fractured the spell and is letting them come back
