ALT A colour photo of the Andrews Gallery with cases displaying world archaeology collections. The gallery has a balustrade around the space in the centre of the room, which opens out into the gallery below. At the far end of the gallery a totem pole rises up from the floor below to the skylights which form part of the roof.
By using a very soft brush and a low-suction vacuum cleaner, Steph, the @CamUnivMuseumsâ Conservator of Objects, ensures she doesnât cause further damage to objects on open display at @MAACambridge whilst cleaning them.

Whilst most objects on display at @MAACambridge are in cases, many are on open display. This puts them at a higher risk to damage due to dust - which attracts moisture and pests. Luckily @CamUnivMuseums Conservator Stephanie is on hand to carry out a deep clean!
