.@Volexity has discovered in-the-wild exploitation of a #zeroday exploit chain targeting Ivanti Connect Secure VPN appliances (CVE-2026-104935). Beginning October 3, a previously unknown threat actor, UTA0576, chained three vulnerabilities to gain unauthenticated root-level code execution on a fully patched device. Notably, UTA0576 deployed no malware or web shell. Instead, the threat actor re-exploited the device for every command it ran and tampered with logs to cover its tracks, evading Ivanti’s Integrity Checker Tool. Using its #Volcano memory analysis platform, Volexity analyzed the compromised device’s memory to uncover the full exploit chain and the attacker’s post-exploitation activity, which focused on credential theft, Active Directory reconnaissance, and data exfiltration. Volexity reported these findings to Ivanti through coordinated disclosure. Read the full analysis, including detection guidance and IOCs, in our blog post here: volexity.com/blog/2026/10/13… #DFIR #threatintel #memoryforensics

Did you know you can request a certificate via NTLM relay through these 2 AD CS endpoints? 🔥 /_CES_Kerberos/service.svc/CES /_CES_NTLM/service.svc/CES This article explains it really well 👇 adhdmurky.github.io/posts/po… RustHound-CE v2.5.21 now also checks whether these endpoints exist (on top of /certsrv/certfnsh.asp) so #BloodHound can graph the path! #ADCS #ESC_CES

Friday afternoon (vibe)coding project that was on my to-do for a while: obtaining Entra ID tokens from an endpoint by asking the WAM. This alternative to using the PRT cookie follows the legitimate SSO flow used by apps like Teams to obtain tokens. Code: github.com/dirkjanm/askWAM

Releasing passthecert-rs v1.0.0 🦀 🔥 Pass-the-Certificate in pure Rust. 🔐 The initial goal is to bring certificate-based LDAPS auth (PFX or CRT+KEY) to RustHound-CE for the collection phase. It then grew into a full PassTheCert-style toolkit. Link: github.com/g0h4n/PassTheCert…

Just open-sourced CredSpy Couldn't find any tools that allowed unauthenticated enumeration of auth methods for @Microsoft accounts, so I created it. Shows whether target accounts use Passkeys, certificate auth, passwordless push, etc... Find it here: github.com/RedByte1337/CredS…

Onelogon: Taking over Active Directory Accounts via Netlogon🔑 We analyzed Netlogon, bypassed the Zerologon patch, resulting in a full auth bypass. An attacker can leverage this to compromise computer accounts, or even the entire AD. Non-standard config must be present tho 🧵
