Hi Neera, I never responded because I prefer not to do post-show online-only debates with guests, and let the full @AJHeadtoHead video episodes speak for themselves. Also, your argument is with AES, who I quoted on the show as disagreeing with you, not with me (I didn't write your plan or his plan). But since you're intent on fighting with every leftist on the internet and are now calling me out, and (wrongly) accusing me of a "major error" and being "misleading," let me respond.
The CAP plan you and your CAP colleague have repeatedly linked to and screenshotted makes it very clear that everyone would be "eligible" for Medicare, yes, but not auto-enrolled. You had previously said your plan was the "same" as AES's and then moved the goalposts on my show, saying "similar," but either way, AES disagrees with you because his plan, he says, auto-enrolls everyone in Medicare. Your plan auto-enrolls kids, the elderly, and the uninsured. So the "major error," in claiming they're the "same," is yours, not mine. @NathanJRobinson already pointed this out to you in your replies but you just keep going with this false claim that your plans are the "same" and the false claim that "the CAP plan has autoenrollment" for everyone. It does not.
But since I now have your attention, and since you got me to respond, it's time for you to respond to my questions please, which you "never" have:
1) Why did you say on Head to Head to me that you had criticized Mike Rogers's extremist pastor ally Lorenzo Sewell, when I can find no such tweet? Where did you do that? Can you provide a link please? Or were you being "misleading"?
2) Why did you say to others on here that you had called out the raid of Ilhan Omar's home when no one can find any such tweet from you from that day?
xitter.cf/neeratanden/status/211…
Can you provide a link please? Or were you being "misleading"?
3) Finally, why did you say to the House Oversight Committee last year, when you were asked: "At any point during the administration did you have any concerns about President Biden's cognitive abilities?," I did not," but then say to me on Head to Head that, at the time: "I had deep concerns about him staying in office." Isn't that "misleading"? Weren't you *under oath* when you said the opposite to Congress?
I'll be right here waiting for your responses @neeratanden.

As I said to @mehdirhasan two days (and he just never responded), CAP’s plan has auto enrollment and so he seemed to make a major error in the Head to Head debate with me.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

One of the problems with talking about clothes is that people can't think of the category outside the narrow-mindedness of consumerism.
If you talk about art, you can discuss its qualities without people automatically jumping to, "But can I purchase this painting for my wall?" If you talk about theatre, people can appreciate that there are people involved in the production, such as actors and actresses. Their faces are inherently unavoidable.
Not so with clothing. You can't talk about clothes without someone immediately jumping to: "Can I purchase this?" Craft and artisanship are secondary considerations. In fact, the more artisanal the item, the more it confuses people.
The people behind the production are also obscured. Once they hit the market, clothes take on a more fetishistic quality. They become an object in themselves, obscuring our social relations to the people who made them.
There's so much discourse at the moment on whether immigrants are taking our jobs. But how many native-born Americans want to be garment workers? Where craftsmanship and artisanship are continually downgraded, and their labor and efforts obscured? The more effort and skill you put into an item, the more it offends people.
Few people are offended by the $30 high street jeans, even if they are likely made in questionable conditions. They are only offended by high prices because it means they might not be able to possess something. Fashion discussions are continually centered around the idea of consumerism — shop shop shop.

BREAKING: Trump made a deal with Yemen’s Houthis in a secret meeting, promising not to strike seized Houthi-held territory or support Saudi Arabia and Saudi-backed forces in any form, in exchange for keeping the Bab el-Mandeb open to shipping, except to Saudi vessels, per Reuters.
The meeting, organized with Oman’s help and not made public, came days after Trump rejected MBS's request for US strikes on the Houthis. MBS called Trump twice asking for strikes and air support and Trump refused both times.
US officials met representatives of Yemen’s Houthis at the US Embassy in Muscat on Sunday, days after the Houthis routed Saudi-backed forces and seized the entire Red Sea coast, with the Houthis telling the US they have no intention of attacking American vessels, remain committed to the 2025 ceasefire, and will not attack Israeli ships or any commercial vessels except those belonging to Saudi Arabia.
The Houthi delegation included Mohammad Abdulsalam, who is under US sanctions, and the group has been a US-designated terrorist organization since March 2025.
