Dear American citizens, whatever you wish more German citizens would have done in 1933, do that now.

The leader of #Canada’s opposition party, Pierre Poilievre, refusing to congratulate the country’s next Prime Minister is yet another example of his MAGA-inspired rage farming and divisive tactics. Poilievre is unmistakably un-Canadian! @MarkJCarney @PierrePoilievre

Traitor? Elon, if you don’t understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe you should leave it to those of us who do.

No, he doesn't. He just likes to claim that, in order to excuse his own sociopathic behavior. You can't self-diagnose Autism. He's just a plain-old boring sociopath, but saying that wouldn't make him feel as "cool" and trendy, so he calls it Autism.

OK, here's a fresh entertaining story from Lithuania, because we all need a good laugh for the sake of sanity. An anonymous troll tricked a member of Parliament to believe that he was going to dine with Musk 😂 I swear, this plan is on par with the exploding pagers. Read on...🧵

Me: Fuck those Nazis No one: Absolutely no one: Someone on CT: “well leftist have you considered the big brained Nazis might be good for the economy and ending war and were deeply misunderstood, simply watch this podcast from two uneducated frat bros who repeat things another podcast said when it was funded by Russian propaganda networks and free your mind from the woke mind virus that hurts the economy! Because just think of the lives and the productivity and it’s not being a nazi to hate brown people if it helps the economy! And Elon said that it would be good and his money must mean he is perfect!” This place is a cesspool.

Now, Trump and Hegseth are trying to gut the military’s leadership so they can use the armed forces to carry out their personal, political agenda. This move will threaten America’s national security, show weakness to dictators worldwide like Vladimir Putin, and give Donald Trump unchecked power to abuse our military. (7/9)

I appreciate both the messages I’ve long had from anti-Trump CT users who felt they just couldn’t speak out publicly, but also now Trump supporters who are breaking with him on Ukraine. His actions are not that of a strongman, nor an honest broker, and it’s refreshing that many are able to see that and are starting to call it out. I’ve been shouting from the rooftops for this past year, often feeling like I’m shouting into the void, saying that he’d be bad for peace, bad for your bags, his policies would hurt the economy, and that he’d only put himself first. That came with a lot of flack coming my way, and a lot of both personal and professional cost. But many of you felt you couldn’t say things, and reached out to thanks me, and that kept me sane. And now seeing a growing tide speak up, whether it be about Canada, or Ukraine, and saying “this is not what America stands for - this is not who we are” Well I feel very thankful. I feel hopeful. At the end of the day, I believe far more of humanity is inherently good, than those who are evil or selfishly corrupt. But much of the good in humanity only comes out when they are pushed to the brink. And when we are all silent, the evil out there festers and silent onlookers are poisoned because it’s the only media left to consume. But seeing more and more of you say something, sometimes in private but increasingly in public, is a blessing. Because that’s what it takes to keep the world on the right track. It’s both the most simple thing and the hardest thing. It just takes good people speaking up. So thank you to those of you who have reached out, those of you who have stood up, those of you who have engaged or even just listened. I appreciate it all 🙂

Bitfufu, a bitcoin miner that went live on Nasdaq on friday is up 150% today. Beware of miners when they get on Nasdaq. Other examples below are horrific. I would have included Core Scientific (from 2022 spac merger), but it went bankrupt and so the data isn't available.

$BTC trading like 2017 today 😂 Awesome volatility in many places. Crypto stocks, alts, and even the big daddy itself. Enjoy it bulls and remind yourselves of your game plans! No support on the way up so a $3k drop can happen easily. Determine the time frame you care most about the trend on.

For example, If I felt a blow off top just formed, I would use a position size in my brokerage account to short an ETF that is 165% larger than the most amount of money I have ever had on a crypto exchange at one time. Were hedge funds putting meaningful capital on these exchanges to short prior tops as exchanges were collapsing 🤷‍♂️

Two identical ETFs in every way * VOO, Vanguard S&P 500 ETF. $406 Billion in Assets * SPY, SPDR S&P 500 ETF. $488 Billion in Assets So why did VOO go straight up to the left without much wobble and get $96 billion in new money? Why did SPY, arguably the most famous ETF in the world (and the first ever in 1993), in an equity bull market producing new all-time highs, see an outflow of $3 billion over the same 25-month period? Again, they are identical. One market itself is for allocations/holders, and the other is for traders/degens. So, who is buying the Spot BTC ETFs? Let's start with who is not playing in spot BTC ETFs. Vanguard (A massive player to allocators, like 401k plans) LPL Financial Merrill Citi UBS Edward Jones Northwestern Mutual This is a ton of wealth managers who are allocator types who are not playing. A big universe of allocators/hodler are not in. But some are playing BlackRock Fidelity Schwab Invesco Add it up, and it is hard to see how the $500 million/day is being driven by allocators/hodlers. Not enough are playing. But the ETF trading/degen world is massive, larger than the hedge fund world. They easily have the firepower to get $500 million/day. What is the problem? What happens on the next downturn (whenever that is) when a $1 billion wants to leave in a day or a few hours. These are indiscriminate market orders that have to be filled immediately at any price.
