UNBELIEVABLE: Russian state-run media is now broadcasting footage of Trump administration official Steve Witkoff calling Vladimir Putin a āHUMANITARIAN.ā
Yes, a HUMANITARIAN.
Letās review who Witkoff is praising:
- Invaded Ukraine, unleashing a devastating war that has killed thousands of civilians and displaced millions.
- Oversaw the unlawful deportation of Ukrainian children, resulting in an International Criminal Court arrest warrant against him.
- Presided over a military responsible for massacres of civilians, including atrocities in Bucha.
- Devastated Mariupol, where Russian forces bombed a theater sheltering civilians, including children.
- Ordered widespread attacks on Ukraineās energy infrastructure, leaving millions without electricity and heat during freezing winters.
- Oversaw a regime responsible for systematic torture, rape, and other war crimes in occupied Ukrainian territory.
Imprisoned opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who subsequently died in a Russian prison.
- Backed brutal bombing campaigns in Syria, where Russian and Syrian forces repeatedly attacked hospitals and civilian areas.
- Crushed political dissent, imprisoning critics, independent journalists, and antiwar protesters.
And now, because Putin released an American imprisoned in Russia for more than four years, Trumpās envoy is praising him as a humanitarian.
Thereās a reason Russian propaganda outlets are broadcasting this footage.
When the Kremlin can use the words of an American official to rehabilitate the image of an accused war criminal, something has gone terribly wrong.
Putin isnāt a humanitarian. Heās a dictator wanted by the International Criminal Court. And the Trump administration just handed him a propaganda victory.

This is how you buy a presidential pardon without anyone ever writing the word "bribe"...
Julio Herrera Velutini, a Venezuelan-Italian billionaire banker, was charged in 2022 over a $300,000 scheme to get Puerto Rico's governor to remove the regulator scrutinising his banks.
In August 2025 he walked away with a plea to a single misdemeanour, a deal the judge himself called "a slap on the wrist".
Then came the pardon. This is the sequence the @nytimes article laid out, and every step of it is "legal" on its own.
Late October 2025, the Herrera family sets up a Florida company, Concord Partners.
Days later, they hire Iraqi-American @AlinaHabba as its general counsel. $10 million a year for four years, plus bonuses. More than $50 million in total.
At the time, Habba was a senior adviser to Attorney General Pam Bondi at the Justice Department, overseeing US attorneys, and one of Trump's own personal lawyers.
She starts on 1 January 2026. Weeks later, Trump grants Herrera a FULL and unconditional pardon. The governor he was accused of bribing, Wanda VƔzquez, is pardoned too.
Then the money alongside it. Herrera's daughter, Isabela, a US citizen, gave $3.5 million to the pro-Trump super PAC MAGA Inc., $2.5 million in December 2024 and $1 million in July 2025. The Campaign Legal Center has asked the FEC to investigate those as straw donations.
Money into the PAC. A $50 million job handed to a serving DOJ adviser who is also the president's personal lawyer. A pardon weeks after she starts.
Habba denies any role in the pardon and calls the suggestion false. Maybe. But you do not need a signed confession when the timeline is this circumstantial.
This is the modern mechanism. Nobody hands over a briefcase rather you just hire the right person at the right price, you fund the right PAC through the right relative, and the outcome desired is the desire that gets delivered, with every single transaction technically lawful.
That is what a captured justice system looks like from the outside.

The corruption is just staggering. Dozens of dozens of pardons being given out to wealthy criminals paying millions for them. The US government is for sale to the highest bidders & DOJ operates as Trumpās consigliere. Have you had enough of this yet America? I know the world has.

ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A CREDIT CARD BILL AND A GREEK EMBASSY WAS THE COLLATERAL
Kimberly Guilfoyle. Don Jr's ex. Top 2020 fundraiser. Handed an ambassadorship to Greece like a party favor
Now she's out the door after allegedly shaking down a Trump donor for six figures to pay off her own personal debt in exchange for access to the administration
Private jets. Luxury hotels. Paid for by businessmen with interests in Greek construction deals she was apparently happy to promote from inside the embassy
This is not diplomacy. This is a woman with a State Department title running a side hustle in access-selling while taxpayers footed her security detail
Trump's response. Not an investigation. Not an apology to the American people. A brand new press secretary reading a two-sentence statement calling her "a wonderful asset"
A wonderful asset. That's the epitaph for an ambassador accused of monetizing her proximity to the President of the United States
Donald Trump installed her. Donald Trump protected her for weeks while the Wall Street Journal kept dropping reports. Donald Trump only cut her loose when the story got too loud to bury
This is what loyalty buys in this administration. Not qualifications. Not a background in diplomacy. A fast track to a taxpayer funded title you can quietly cash in on
And when you get caught, you don't get prosecuted, you get a graceful exit and a thank you note
Ambassadorships used to mean something. Under Trump they're a loyalty reward with a donor-funded side door
Every career foreign service officer who spent decades earning a post just watched a fundraiser skip the line, allegedly grift on the job, and walk away clean
This is the administration. Access is for sale. Loyalty is the currency. Accountability is a press release
And they are not going to stop

WOW: Top Trump adviser Ric Grenell outlined a stunning pay-for-influence offer to a Turkish billionaire last year: access to "POTUS," "VIP events" and administration officials, according to a text message, reviewed by Axios
āOnce the money comes to the company here, I will arrange the donation to Kennedy Centre [sic], and you'll be joining the VIP events and get close with the administration, even with POTUS," the May 3, 2025, text says.

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government canāt selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But thatās exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, itās important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administrationās fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone ā all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And itās not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies ā from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omarās life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and sheās been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omarās political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, thereās no reason to believe it will stop with her ā or that future presidents, in either party, wonāt do the same.
I donāt know whatās more sad, the politicians pushing these lies, or the people that believe them
If you steal from American taxpayers, you WILL be held accountable. House Republicans will NEVER stop fighting against fraud.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Donald Trump has granted clemency to dozens of individuals convicted of financial crimes that directly target American taxpayers or the federal government. Across his two terms, over half of his individual (non-blanket) clemency grants have benefited white-collar offenders

Four sources identify Elon Musk as personally proposing Starshield restrictions to Trump, while three officials trace the order to the White House. Ukraine received no warning. Its interceptor drones were disrupted as Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of ballistic missiles. Whether this was deliberate sabotage remains unresolved.

STATE DEPARTMENT TOLD CONGRESS TO GO TO HELL AND MOVED THE MONEY ANYWAY
Fifty two million dollars. Approved by law for Slovakia, North Macedonia, Tunisia, Iraq. A formal hold placed by Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Congressman Gregory Meeks
Trump's State Department read that hold and did it anyway
Quietly notified Congress Wednesday night they were defying it. Shipped the money to Panama, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia instead
Shaheen and Meeks literally wrote in advance this would be treated as a statutory violation. Trump's people did it in broad daylight like the warning was a dare
This is the power of the purse. Written into the Constitution so one man can't move federal money on a whim. Trump just proved the paper doesn't matter if nobody stops him
And here's the pattern forming around it. Same week, the Wall Street Journal reports twenty million dollars pulled out of DHS funding to pay for ads boosting Trump before the midterms. Another twenty five hundred thousand burned on top of that elsewhere
Congress appropriates. Trump redirects. Over and over, no consequence, no pushback that sticks
Four allied nations lose funding they were promised. Four friendlier-to-Trump governments get a windfall instead. Homeland security money becomes a campaign commercial
This isn't a budget disagreement. This is a president deciding Congress's vote is a suggestion he's allowed to ignore whenever it's inconvenient
They told him no. He did it anyway. And nothing happened
That's not governing. That's a man finding out there's no lock on the door
