I've joined Rachel's reviewing team recently, there's no obligation but the one I picked up from her and have read so far was super and she's really clear on what each book is about so you can pick appropriately. She's recruiting again - what's not to like about more free books??

Catherine Coleman Flower's "Holy Ground" tells some home truths about poverty and inequality in the southern states of America but with kindness and faith underpinning everything she does. Very interesting book that I'd never have found without NetGalley! librofulltime.wordpress.com/…

A book that hung over the turn of the year, something I don't like to do but there you go - Charlie English's "The Snow Tourist" was at least apt reading librofulltime.wordpress.com/…

Dean Street December round-up post (which had to be edited when I found three more reviews I'd been told about but hadn't noticed). librofulltime.wordpress.com/… Yes, it will be running again in December 2025! @FurrowedMiddle @DeanStPress

First two reads of the year - Caryl Phillips' Another Man in the Street and Alex Iantaffi (ed.) Trans and Disabled. Both very interesting. librofulltime.wordpress.com/…

My 8th book for Dean Street December, Elizabeth Fair - "The Mingham Air" which was a very good one librofulltime.wordpress.com/… DSD is extended until the end of Sunday if you have one last review (or more) to fit in! @DeanStPress @FurrowedMiddle

State of the TBR! Has it overflowed? How many @DeanStPress esp @FurrowedMiddle books came into the house in December? librofulltime.wordpress.com/…

I'm sure we've all been waiting for this - my book stats and best books of 2024 librofulltime.wordpress.com/… Nice to see how many of my best books came from or are associated with events at The Heath Bookshop!

Last book review on the blog for this year, though I'm hoping to finish one last Dean Street Press read: Jane McMorland Hunter's "Bedside Companion for Book Lovers", given to me by @Heaven_ali librofulltime.wordpress.com/…

#DeanStreetDecember24 participants, you have until the end of Sunday 5 January to get your books read and your reviews written and contributed to the project! @DeanStPress @FurrowedMiddle

My seventh read for #DeanStreetDecember24 and a bit of a different one for me, E.R. Punshon's Golden Age Mystery, "There's a Reason for Everything" which I thoroughly enjoyed. librofulltime.wordpress.com/… @DeanStPress

Two reviews shoehorned in, both books about walking and social change - Mike Carter's "All Together Now?" and Charlie Hill's "This Albion" librofulltime.wordpress.com/… and one more knocked off my 2024 TBR project.

Another one for #DeanStreetDecember24 Molly Clavering's "Because of Sam" which was a delightful, gentle read librofulltime.wordpress.com/… @DeanStPress @FurrowedMiddle

Christmas Eve book review post I forgot to share: two books on race and racism from pre-pandemic "They Can't Kill us All" and "How to be an Antiracist" librofulltime.wordpress.com/… - I'm kind of alternating reading Dean Street Press books and social justice nonfiction at the moment!

Another read for #DeanStreetDecember24 - Margery Sharp's "Harlequin House" librofulltime.wordpress.com/… @DeanStPress @FurrowedMiddle

Another one for #DeanStreetDecember24 - Ursula Orange - "Tom Tiddler's Ground" librofulltime.wordpress.com/… @DeanStPress @FurrowedMiddle

My third book for #DeanStreetDecember librofulltime.wordpress.com/… - Frances Faviell's "The Dancing Bear" an unusual @FurrowedMiddle book as it's a memoir. @DeanStPress

On the blog; a good addition to my reading on Iceland - Ted Edwards - "Fight the Wild Island" librofulltime.wordpress.com/…

Diverse NetGalley reads (and a not-read) catch-up on the blog - Kindred Creation, Miss Southeast and Calling my Deadname Home librofulltime.wordpress.com/…
