When a bream makes your 25inch unhooking mat look small you know youve landed a decent slab! Thats what canal bailiff Michael Wilkins encountered during a chub session on the Ouse at Harrold today with the big river bream tipping the scales at an impressive 10lb 7oz.

Lure angler Mark Austin had caught 3 jack pike during his visit to one of our Ouse sections before hooking into a massive perch which was 45cm long (18 inches) and weighed in at 4lb 2oz

Dexter went pike fishing with his dad on one of the Luton AC stretches of the Ouse and had a good result
