My subway train went out of service so I stopped by the card shop beside the station and won the BD Meister cup with a friend's deck made from spares.
Had a turn where I couldn't resolve fever because I couldn't tri reverse demo deck Layer 4ks.

The English cardboard feels flimsier and there were a lot more gaps. The Japanese one seems to lay flatter.
Both do have an issue of the top flap being quite flimsy so it may be hard to stack these. Maybe gluing cardboard inside would help.
FYI used scotch tape and velcro instead
I tried doing this myself at home with both an English and Japanese booster box. The Japanese one definitely felt more stable so just keep that in mind if you try to do it with English boxes ๐
