Lumen is the first AR flashlight for the metaverse that bridges the gap between our physical and digital worlds. Using spatially-aware projected AR, we bring the experiences in the metaverse outside the headsets into the real world, making it shareable and socially inclusive.

Computing will disappear into the background of our lives, revealing itself only when we need it through enchanted interactions. We believe in this vision and have been working on this since 2017. Welcome to the club @Humane xitter.cf/lumen_world/status/154…

Thank you for making us EARLY ACCESS PARTNERS of this wonderful product😍 #Designium

Each Lumen is crafted individually by hand and put together with a lot of love. On-demand production enabled by 3D printing has helped us get more than a dozen Lumens into the hands of our amazing early-access partners.

I made a short zine by putting together some of my favourite responses from the Ghostwriter: #AI typewriter. Here are some of the best prompts and BTS footage from the Ghostwriter in action (a thread): #GPT3 #poetry (1/14)

A few weeks ago, we shipped a Lumen to @rainage at @thedesignium Tokyo, and they have been doing amazing experiments. StreetRPG is one where you walk in the street revealing treasures, weapons and defending against hidden creatures at night. #AugmentedReality #designium

Scaling a hardware startup is hard without huge funding, but as designers we believe in getting out products as early as possible to learn fast. #3dprinting has helped us do this instead of having to throw thousands of dollars at contract manufacturers so early on.
