When my uniswap transaction fails, did I still have to pay gas fees? Seems like it did but maybe the price if eth just changed?

What do you think when someone has a pfp of a popular nft you also own, and they are scamming ppl left and right? Isn’t there supposed to be some kind of community around owning these popular nfts? Do you think it makes you look bad by association?
