Bryce gets a lot of shit from this fanbase. And I know college football is different in the NIL era and expectations become different when you’re a millionaire many times over. But I’ll never forget how he acted today after being benched. That’s character.

You know a moment is iconic when Sean McDonough’s voice cracks in such a fashion.

"The public has a vital interest in receiving accurate, independent information about its government. No administration should restrict a news organization because it objects to its reporting.” — White House television pool members: ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Fox News Media, NBC News
The president said it plainly in the Oval Office, describing his own planned action as a “ban on the free press.”
The Constitution protects the freedom of the press from government interference. That protection does not depend on whether the president likes a news organization’s coverage, agrees with its reporting, or approves of the questions its journalists ask.
This is about more than the rights of journalists. It is about the right of the American people to receive a full and independent account of the activities, policies and decisions of whoever occupies the nation’s highest office.
The WHCA stands in defense of our colleagues at CNN, MSNOW, and Politico who are being singled out for doing their jobs.

My favorite moment of the week: watching our city honor former Mayor Rosalynn Bliss by naming a bus platform in her honor.
Mayor Bliss played such an important role in so many of the incredible things we enjoy every day in Grand Rapids. It was wonderful to see her recognized. 🚍

Beginning Saturday, all football broadcasts from Big Ten venues that include Big Ten replay and on-field officials will be able to feature live audio between the game referee and replay official during reviews, alongside video of the game footage being viewed during the process and a view inside the state-of-the-art Big Ten Replay Center.
This is an extension of the September 1 announcement that the Big Ten would offer enhanced replay reviews during Friday night games this season.
