After 20 fulfilling months with Champions Ascension, I have decided to step down. I want to express my deep gratitude to the community, the unwavering support from the team, and the personal growth I've been fortunate to experience over my time here. While I will no longer be an employee, this is not a farewell. Bleeding is Believing, and I’ll always plan to SYITA. When I first joined Wolves DAO as a researcher, Wildcard was one of the first games I focused on. From the very first playtest, I could tell it was destined for greatness. Over the past year, I’ve cultivated meaningful relationships with key team members—Paul, Katy, Ami, Shady, RemyD, and Mary Ann. Meeting Paul and Katy in person at GDC remains a standout moment in my career. The care, patience, and dedication this team has for their products is truly unparalleled. A few months later, I was invited to a meeting to discuss a new project—Thousands. Now, I am excited to announce my next step. I will be joining the Thousands team as the Community Lead. Thousands, a groundbreaking gift to the industry from Paul and Katy, seeks to answer the critical question: "How do we make a platform that allows games to be as engaging to watch as they are to play?" This platform will empower creators and communities to provide seamless and engaging content in revolutionary ways. Imagine a fusion of Discord Stages, Twitch, and all the essential Web 3 tools we value—combined into one transformative product. Having the opportunity to contribute to this platform from its early stages is a dream come true, and I invite many of you to join me on this exciting new adventure. Believing in the power of strong feedback loops of Web 3, I’ve coined this phrase for our journey ahead: Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Thousands. Let’s work hand in hand to take live-streaming events, gaming, and communities to the next level. Help us build and be rewarded.
