Enes Kanter received incredible support in the US when his opposition to Erdogan led to his Turkish passport being revoked, Turkey filing criminal charges against him, and issuing an Interpol Red Notice for his arrest. He was forced to curtail international travel out of fear of detention or assassination. In retribution for his son’s stance, his father, a university professor in Turkey, was dismissed from public service, detained, and eventually charged with membership in a terrorist organization. So Kanter became a US citizen, where he now uses that freedom and opportunity to… troll and bully the trans community for clout.
