Dear Prime Minister Ambani, Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India. Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete? There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better. Thank you 🙏

Very pleased to see that ABC News in Australia has reported on what is happening to Hindus in Bangladesh and the horrific lynching of Dipu Das and mob murders of three other Hindus in recent days. Most western media outlets have totally ignored what is happening - including ignoring the Das murder. It is great that ABC News has covered this - as all impartial media should be doing. This is an excellent, thorough, well-researched report that went up today. Do read and share. abc.net.au/news/2026-01-04/b…

🚨🚨🚨This large account (29+k) in Bangladesh is openly calling for ethnic cleansing of Hindus. They are calling for others to #TMD people. That means kill them. #TMD is a call for genocide against the Hindu minority community in Bangladesh. It stands for "Total Malaun Death," a slur derived from the Arabic word "mal'un," meaning "accursed" or "deprived of God's mercy." @elonmusk this isn't freedom of speech.

Sheikh Hasina expresses condolences on the passing of Begum Khaleda Zia - I extend my deepest condolences on the passing of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. As the first woman Prime Minister of Bangladesh, and for her role in the struggle to establish democracy, her contributions to the nation were significant and will be remembered. Her passing represents a profound loss for Bangladesh’s political life and for the leadership of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. I pray for the eternal peace and forgiveness of Begum Khaleda Zia’s soul. I convey my sincere sympathies to her son, Tarique Rahman, and to the members of her bereaved family. I also extend my condolences to the wider BNP family. I hope that Almighty Allah grants them patience, strength, and comfort to endure this difficult time. #Bangladesh

The brutal murder of a Hindu man called Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh by a Muslim crowd - for so called blasphemy allegations - proves the unacceptable grave danger of Hindus in Bangladesh (and Pakistan), and the barbarity of Islam. #DipuChandraDas #Bangladesh #StopIslam

Dipu Chandra Das, a Hindu man was lynched and set on fire, following allegations of blasphemy. There must be full accountability. The grassroots’ ongoing calls for human rights, religious freedom, protections for minority groups, worker’s rights & trade union freedoms must be heeded to over mob violence.
#Bangladesh 🇧🇩: Amnesty International calls on the interim government of Bangladesh to ensure prompt, thorough, independent, and impartial investigations into the killing of youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi, and the subsequent mob violence which led to the burning of the offices Prothom Alo and Daily Star and Chhayanaut, and the harassment of New Age editor, Nurul Kabir. Furthermore, we are alarmed by the lynching of Hindu garment worker Dipu Chandra Das following allegations of blasphemy. Amnesty International condemns the mob violence which has resulted in injuries, destruction of property, and even death. The interim government must take immediate steps to hold perpetrators of acts of violence and killings accountable in a fair trial without recourse to the death penalty.

What about the mob lynching of a Hindu worker? @UNHumanRights @Iyervval @TheShafaliVerma
#Bangladesh: We call on the authorities to conduct a prompt, impartial, thorough & transparent investigation into the attack that led to the death of Sharif Osman Bin Hadi, a prominent leader of last year’s demonstrations. Everyone should refrain from violence. Retaliation & revenge will only deepen divisions & undermine the rights of all. ➡️ ohchr.org/en/press-releases/…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Osman Hadi was a radical Islamist who led anti-Hindu violence in Bangladesh since Sheikh Hasina’s ouster. His followers are currently lynching and burning Hindus alive. UN human rights seem more concerned about that terrorist than about innocent minorities in Bangladesh. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Bang… ndtv.com/world-news/hin… timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/south-as…

The Government of India must reconsider the fixed cut-off under the #Citizenship Amendment Act and make it open-ended, as ongoing violence against #Hindus in #Bangladesh demands protection based on present persecution, not an outdated date. #CAA2019 @narendramodi @AmitShah @PMOIndia @INCIndia @priyankagandhi @SuvenduWB

#Bangladesh: The guilty verdict against ex-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is an important moment for victims of the grave violations committed during the suppression of protests last year. We regret that this trial conducted in absentia led to a capital punishment sentence, which we oppose in all circumstances. We hope that Bangladesh will move forward with a comprehensive process of truth-telling, reparation & justice as the pathway to national reconciliation & healing. ohchr.org/en/press-releases/…

Pathetic that Print gave Sagarika platform to spread fake news that has been repeatedly debunked Here she claims Modi's certificate spells "university" as "unibersity" Nonsense! That's what "v" looks like in that font You can see it in old certificates of Osamania Univ also

1. Dear ECI, here is a list of 509 people registered as voters in one fictitious house no. 39 in Pipra, Bihar. And we have records of 80,000 voters like these bundled into fictitious/dubious addresses in just 3 constituencies. This is not a one-off mistake. This is a systemic failure leaving a gaping hole of possible fraud. ECI claimed the Bihar SIR was to 'purify' the voter list. It's taken the existing mess and added to it, shows our investigation. This is from reporting by my colleagues @ayushikar1998 and @Vishnun30 for @reporters_co.

The #GigWorker protection ordinance becomes an Act! With rules to be notified soon, & Rajasthan still prevaricating on its rules, Karnataka will be the first state to implement the law. Its more progressive legislation will set a precedent for workers rights far beyond Karnataka
