Sitting in the airport waiting for my flight later today but I just wanted to mention how happy I am I got to go to Eclipse and how much I appreciate my friends for helping. Was one of the best weekends of my life and I have a lot of love for everyone I met and talked to.

Did way worse than I wanted to in MBAACC getting 49th but I said I was going for the social aspect and not for bracket and that ended up being true. Still, I have a lot of fire in me again so I'll be giving it my all for next year.

I don't like commenting on stuff like this but I feel like I should say something since I've been around so long. The short version is that Nijisanji fans have been toxic, rumor spreading dicks before an EN branch was ever even considered, but I'll go over the long version below.

bet many JP fans don't know how bad it is outside japan. a lot of international niji fans actually want to get along,but unfortunately quite a lot of international holo fans looking down on niji fans. some even using slur word to refer to any niji fans. that's how bad it is

4chan stuff bleeds into everywhere else for vtubers on the western side, and the Nijisanji fan reputation came with it. People have a hard time forgetting stuff like that. There's lots and lots and lots of incidents after that where resentment would build further as well.

Holo fans aren't perfect and have a good amount of blame nowadays as well, but I do think there's a good reason the Niji fan perception is what it is today. I just wish I could understand what happened... it wasn't like this when it was just iinchou and them... When did it shift?
