Newcastle United ultimately frustrated. But so many pluses. Organised and committed. Some big players have left, some new faces come in. A young team who will only improve the longer they spend together. Players in tune with new manager’s demands. Keeper good, back-four good (Hall terrific but one costly mistake), hard-working and very young midfield, Elanga positive on the break. Wissa outstanding in attack, far better than Isak. A few days ago there were many doubts around the Club. Had PIF lost interest? New £190m training-ground announcement suggests owners still very much interested in the project. Was Jaissle good? His tactics, mood-setting and effective changes suggest he knows what he’s doing although only one performance. His team have to repeat and repeat. Promising start. If frustrating. #NUFC #NEWLIV
