Many football fans around the world believed it deserved the Puskas Award, but it didn't win it.
What a Goal !!!

This is superb.
The lesson begins with the usual catechism: J.K. Rowling has “bigoted opinions”.
Then someone makes the unforgivable mistake of reading what she actually wrote.
Suddenly, certainty requires definitions. Slogans require evidence. “Everyone knows” requires rather more than everyone saying it.
Critical thinking really is murder on a fashionable consensus.

Really difficult thing to post, but one of my good friends Callum tragically passed away recently at 26 & I was hoping if you are at the Mwell game tomorrow if you could join in with a minute applause on the 26th minute for him & his family, it would mean alot 💙

This Scottish highlander farmer points out a few inconvenient home truths about the wildfires currently in the Cairngorms. He should know. He works on the land.

It's exactly 50 years since a scaffolder from Bradford called Richard Dunn stepped into the ring with Muhammad Ali. I recently spent an afternoon with Richard re-watching the fight for @itvcalendar - if you want more check out my documentary - itv.com/watch/news/when-brad…

Luka Modrić will turn 41 in just over 3 months. This footage is from only a few days ago.
In 25 days’ time, he is expected to line up for Croatia in their opening World Cup 2026 match against England. Astonishing when you consider both his age and the level of football the World Cup demands in games like that.
What Modrić continues to prove is that the brain does not slow down in football, if anything, it can become even sharper with age and experience. That is absolutely the case with him. When world class disciplined decision making is combined with the technical ability to still execute at the highest level, plus an exceptional understanding of space and timing, you get a player who remains effective against the very best in the world.
As he approaches his 41st birthday, Modrić is yet another reminder that technical quality and football intelligence often provide far greater longevity than relying purely on physical attributes.

This is the worst experience I've ever had in my football career.
I left Kalmar FF after my contract ended in December 2012 .
Around January 2013 I got an offer from a club in Belarus called Dinamo Minsk and everything was agreed and all I need was to travel for medicals.
I arrived in Belarus via Latvia and it was a very Cold winter day.
I went straight to the hotel after I was picked up from the airport by the Russian agent who is working with my agent Patrick Mork.
Next day I went to do the medical exam and all was good and on my way back to the hotel I was in the car with the president of Minsk and the Russian agent.
The next thing they did was to stop the car in the middle of nowhere and they wrote another contract for me on a tissue paper that this is what I will accept as they threaten me and I was scared for my life and how aggressive they both were.
They threatened me with a false medical reports that I have a heart condition and I should accept this contract on the tissue paper.
When I got to the hotel I called my agent and told him what happened and he booked the next available flight for me to return to Sweden and I did another medical to be sure and it was all good with my health.
There are many footballers who have had same experience like this that they couldn't get out of it.
True story...

One of the absolute success stories in the West of Scotland in recent years.
First job in senior football, leading his side to successive promotions, developing some excellent young players and taking Muirkirk to levels unthinkable a few years ago.
Well done @rossc1986 and best wishes to all for the future.
