Workington AFC are delighted to announce the signing of German forward Louis Jacobs.
The 25-year-old was developed in the academies of Bundesliga clubs Hamburger SV and FC St. Pauli before gaining senior experience in Germany with SV Curslack-Neuengamme, Concordia Hamburg and Dynamo Schwerin.
A versatile attacker capable of playing through the middle or from wide areas, Louis moved to England with Lancaster City before spending last season with Newtown AFC, where he registered seven goals and five assists.
He began the current campaign with Scottish League One side Peterhead and now makes the move to West Cumbria to join Billy Barrโs squad.

Unbelievable showing from the Robins tonight ๐๐ผ the birthday boy @jamiehyne causing chaos. @LouisJacobs111 scoring goals only Louis Jacobs can score and itโs not unusual to see Tom Jones loop one over a goalkeeper ๐๐ผ
