The 27-year-old hit .359 with a 247 OPS+ in the first half, propelling him to the Triple Crown and likely back-to-back MVPs.
His power is undeniable, but the biggest questions are an elevated chase rate and defensive inconsistency at 3B.

2025 first round pick Marek Houston was one of the best prospects in the system this year. His 149 hits led all qualified Twins prospects, while him and Yasser Mercedes were the only two to steal at least 50 bases.
Houston showed great whiff avoidance all season, but also showed a great understanding of the strike zone. This allowed him to run a 20.5% Chase% in Double-A, while keeping that number above average in High-A.
