I am blessed to say I am committing to play football at Cal U! I want to first thank the coaches at Cal for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play at the next level. I also want to thank all of my trainers and coaches who have helped me along the way. Most importantly I want to thank my family who have been there from the beginning and helped me through this process.

💥 2026 Spotlight 💥
Had a legendary high school career and made Norwin competitive against the BIG boys because of his production and leadership. Was hands down the best QB in 6A this year and now waiting for an opportunity to make a college team better
A few clips from this past Fridays semi final game against North Allegheny. Not the outcome we wanted but couldn’t be more proud of our team this season! **Full season highlights coming soon**

Tristyn continues to impress. College coaches, extremely athletic, middle of the order MIF, with tons of upside. Plus glove and awareness!
.432 AVG | 1.318 OPS | .588 OBP | 15RBI | 15R through 18 games 👀👀📈📈
Tristyn Tavares (@TristynTavares) continues to excel with each opportunity he gets. Two doubles on the day to bust some games open. Again, showcasing the quick hands and hips through contact. Drives the ball through the gap with ease.

Pulls a FB over the LF fence for a HR. Strong lower half, drives hands through with an uphill bat path and explosive finish. Easy power to his pull side.

10+ throws out of Norwin’s @TristynTavares
Working with NSSA Elite, the last rep in this one is a good one. I probably have more throws of his to find. Was really impressed with him through the two games I watched.
Tristyn Tavares - @TristynTavares QB/PA
6’0, 195 pounds. Reps Norwin HS and NSSA Elite 7v7. 3.95 GPA
I’m an on-the-record fan of Tavares, so I wasn’t surprised to see him perform well. Yet he’s vastly improved since the last time I saw him in person, mechanically speaking.
