Tigray Conflict: Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan & Egypt Strengthen Security Ties Amid Rising Regional Tensions
The Horn of Africa is hurtling towards another regional war. This September, after 3 years of tentative peace, violent clashes between the Ethiopian Army and the so-called Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) shook the northern Ethiopian regions of Tigray, Afar and Amhara. Egypt, Somalia, Sudan and Eritrea have forged a new security pact in response to this latest escalation, and the external powers that thrive on Africa’s continued instability are watching closely.
In this report for The Spearhead, @barrahart explores where Africa’s interests lie in all of this, and where its people must stand, as a matter of survival.

Over the past few weeks we’ve gotten an incredible number of first time investors join Bamboo with a desire to invest in the Dangote Refinery IPO. We wanted to say welcome and thank you for trusting us with your future. 💚
We also wanted to share some really important tips to help you invest the right way.
1. Everyone should invest but not everyone should invest in the highest risk stocks. If what you invested in is not letting you sleep at night, diversify or move into lower risk assets. You can get fixed income and savings on Bamboo as well if you’re in Nigeria.
2. Remember that every investment no matter how safe has an element of risk and how it has performed in the past doesn’t guarantee how it will perform going forward.
3. For most new retail investors, taking a loan to invest is almost always a bad idea.
Do not invest money that’s essential to your daily survival hoping it multiplies. In investment, hope is not a strategy.
4. Don’t invest money that has a near-term, non-negotiable purpose. For example: school fees, rent or mortgage payments, money for medical bills etc.
5. If you’re young know that building the habit of investing regularly is way more important than the amount of money you can invest today.
6. If you’re older or you’re responsible for others, do not invest a disproportionate amount of your savings or net worth in a single asset. We have a name for people who do crazy things like that - entrepreneurs 😅
7. Try to make sure you understand what you want to invest in. We’ll share a link to a deep dive we did on the Dangote Refinery IPO. We recommend that you watch it.
We’re working really hard to make sure your first investment experience is going to be fantastic. We’ve put out and will continue putting out educational resources because we believe that you can dream, invest and live but only if you do it right. Here are some of those resources 🧵investbamboo.app.link/dangot…

Mastering ICT Dealing Range💡
Most ICT traders know Premium & Discount. Very few understand the Dealing Range behind them.
They mark 50%, draw a premium and discount box, and move on.
But the real question is:
Why was that range chosen in the first place?
Because the wrong dealing range can completely change how you interpret price.
In this thread, I break down how ICT Dealing Ranges help you understand:
→ How to select the correct range
→ Premium, Discount & Equilibrium
→ Higher Timeframe Bias
→ Price Narrative & Repricing
→ Internal & External Range Liquidity
→ ERL → IRL → ERL delivery
→ PD Arrays inside the range
→ Lower Timeframe Entry Refinement
→ Draw On Liquidity
Most importantly, you'll learn how all of these concepts connect into one framework for reading where price is, where it may reprice, and where it may deliver next.
Study the thread below to master ICT Dealing Ranges.

Update: Boko Haram is set to conduct an Islamic Graduation ceremony for over 100 forgotten women and kids who were kidnapped in Woro, Kwara State 4-months ago, where the Emir & Imam rejected Sharia. And, the cost of the ceremony will be added to the bill sent to the Government.
After forcibly converting them to Islam, the terrorists taunted families that they spent the past months teaching all the surviving victims Quran recitation and Islam teachings, and many of the captives have done well, so they’d be rewarded with graduation ceremonies soon.
But whatever they spend will be added to the ransom demand they will be sending to the Government.
— Confused family members shared with SaharaReporters.
Back in February this year, Woro community in Kaiama LGA, Kwara North was attacked by a Sadiku-led Boko Haram faction, a Sahel Terror network slowly creeping down southern Nigeria, per Zagazola Makama.
They were angry after the Emir and Imam repeatedly rejected their imposition of Shariah in the community and then reported them to the Nigerian Army.
So they stormed the village on an evening and massacred over 200 people, in a two days operation; Incl. the Emir’s wives and kids, the community Chief Imam, a school principal, a headmistress and several students, and kidnapped 176 people including pregnant women and kids.
This is just one of many forgotten kidnap cases in the country.
Last April, Boko Haram demanded ₦3.7bn for 400 forgotten women and children they kidnapped in Ngoshe, Borno State months earlier, or they’d be executed. They then dared the Nigerian Army to come after them, Telegraph reported.

Woro is trending because a new growing Boko Haram splinter from Sahel region stormed a village in Kwara, with about 200 jihadist gunmen and massacred atleast 170+ persons. Because the Emir rejected their version of Islamic teachings and Sharia imposition.
They took the Emir, killed his two wives, his children, Imam and many others..
The attack began around 6pm on Tuesday, evening by gunmen reportedly linked to Sadiku-led Boko Haram faction,a Sahel Terror network slowly creeping down southern Nigeria, per Zagazola Makama.
A survivor told BBC News that this attack came after a pocket of attacks around Woro.
Initially 35 bodies were recovered but the number slowly increased, as many were trapped in fires, many ran into bushes with gunshot wounds.
Another source told Sahara Reporters that the terrorists killed indiscriminately; men, women, children and traveller passing through the village, including several kids returning from school.
The attack went on for hours, but subsided when the terrorists spotted a military aircraft approaching. Nigerian Army responded to the distress call, but the terrorists were more in numbers..
Tragically, the jihadist returned this morning (Wednesday) to finish off survivors who returned. The Emir of Woro, Alhaji Saliu Bio Umar remains missing, his palace torched, family slained.
Apparently, before the attack, the jihadist group forced residents of Woro to attended their extremist Islamic teachings. But the Emir strongly resisted and continually reported to authorities. This reportedly angered the jihadists, resulting to the massacre.
Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq confirmed the attack was a result of recent counter-terrorism operations in the region.
According to security analysts, Zagazola Makama, they are rapidly progressing deep into South and Nigeria, Benin and Niger Republic must unite to repel them.
This massacre happened in Woro, a community in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.

NDLEA will still want to collect money
And when you calculate all the money spent, it’s almost close to the amount of the goods you bought 😓
I’m not surprised 😂. My boss sent me a MacBook and iPhone 17 from the US through DHL early this year . When it arrived in Nigeria, DHL said NDLEA had seized it for “investigation” for about 5 days.. I was how ? Wetin concern NDLEA with gadget ??
They requested for sender and received id card, letter and receipt of purchase, we provide everything.. still yet, they didn’t release it
A few days later, someone from there office called asking for settlement before it could be released. I immediately reported it to the Abuja office, and within two hours, my package was released back to DHL. 😂
